Wow. WTF was that. Montreal loses to Boston, again!? Series is 3 - 3. Sheesh, they better come out storming against Boston in Game 7. If Montreal loses, that will just be unbelievable. Like, really, unbelievable.

*YAWN* Another easy, breezy, off the heezy win for the Sextroit Great Wings. Too easy. Detroit is now in the 2nd round.

If I'm not mistaken, they'll face the winner of the Dallas/Anaheim series.

Time to make my picks for the 2nd round. Starting with the Eastern Conference.

Montreal over Philadelphia in 6: I'm giving the Flyers two games, but it wouldn't shock me to see this go 5. Mike Knuble's absense will hurt the Flyers. And the Canadiens will use their speed (And their goaltending) to their advantage.

Pittsburgh over New York in 6: The Penguins will win this series due to their offense. Sidney makes it to the ECF.

Onto the West!

San Jose over Dallas in 7: I don't follow either team, I don't care about either team, so this is a wild guess.

DETROIT over Colorado in 7: This is going to be good. As long as Osgood makes the start, Detroit should win what will probably be the best series of the postseason (Unless a certain NHL Final match-up happens). Look for the Wings depth and the home-ice advantage to make the difference.

Leafs dont make the playoffs, ducks/bruins get knocked out in the first round, I guess Ill just watch casually now...

I see Philly in 7

Pittsburgh/New York
Should be physical, the Penguins(Pit) are the favorites but I think NY in 6, mostly because of Avery...


San Jose vs Dallas
San Jose has alot of expectations but this time I see them going the distance... Sharks in 7

Detroit vs Colorado
Avs in 6

I literally jumped out of my chair and the keyboard flew in the air when Montreal scored in the last minute of the third period to tie it. It was huge! Great win for Montreal.

My second round predictions:

Montreal vs Philadelphia - Montreal in 6
