Wings get their win back against Columbus as they beat the Blue Jackets 3-1 behind a Hat Trick from Henrik akjhsasdhhwetui Zetterberg (His middle name might be fake >_>).

*Yawn* Too easy for Detroit, just too easy.

Smell that? Its that damn PLAYOFF SMELL!!

My picks in bold.

Eastern Conference:

Capitals over Flyers in 6: Washington has been on a hot streak as of late, usually the team that finishes the season hot, has a good postseason. Ovechkin, needless to say, will go nuts.

Rangers over Devils in 5

Penguins over Senators in 5: Pittsburgh gets revenge for last year's playoff loss to the Sens. Crosby's injury actually wound up making Pittsburgh a better team while the Sens injuries (Most notably, Alfreddson's) have left the team in disarray. A sweep wouldn't surprise me in this series.

Bruins over Canadiens in 7 >_>... Nah. Montreal over Boston in 4. Montreal beat Boston eight times this season (They lost 0 games against the Bruins) and Montreal is simply a better team in every aspect. Somewhere, MS is smiling.

Western Conference Picks:

Dallas over Anaheim in 7 games: That's right, and early exit for the champs. The Ducks had the second most home wins this season (With Sextroit having the most) and they've gone 20-5-1 since Teemu Selanne came back. I just think Dallas has way too much firepower on the offensive end (2nd in the Western Conference in Goals) for Anaheim's liking. I know Dallas has been underwhelming in the postseason these past coule of seasons, but they'll wipe the slate clean after this series which will be the best one of the first round, maybe the playoffs.

Minnesota over Colorado in 5: Once again, I think that the Wild are the better team. That's all there is to it.

San Jose over Calgary in 4: As a Wings fan, I fear the Sharks.. This series will show people why.

SEXTROIT GREAT WINGS over Nashville in 5: Why in 5 games? Because I feel sorry for the Predators and I decided to give them at least one game.

I'll do my predictions since the first games are tonight.

Montreal vs Boston - Montreal wins series 4 - 1
Pittsburgh vs Ottawa - Pittsburgh wins series 4 - 2
Washington vs Philadelphia - Washington wins series 4 - 2
New Jersey vs NY Rangers - NY Rangers win series 4 - 3

Detroit vs Nashville - Detroit wins series 4 - 2
San Jose vs Calgary - Calgary wins series 4 - 2
Minnesota vs Colorado - Colorado wins series 4 - 1
Anaheim vs Dallas - Anaheim wins series 4 - 2

Personally, I would love to see the Ottawa Senators win and advance to the next round, but I really don't see it, especially since Daniel Alfredsson, Mike Fisher and Chris Kelly are all injured and are out for "weeks" which is bad for Ottawa. I think Pittsburgh will get revenge.

My finals prediction is - Montreal Canadiens vs Calgary Flames.

I agree with every single one of your predictions thus far except for the Rangers/Devils series. I know that NY has beaten the Devils pretty handily this season, but I'm still going to have to say Devils in 7. It'll be a good series too.

Also, what kind of pep talk are the Bruins going to get in the locker room go before game 1?

"Uhhh... well. We've lost the last 11 meetings against this team, and ummm.. now we have to win 4. Out of seven. Uhhh... go team?"
