Dat awkward silence....

I'll wait for you all to bow down to your new god, Arsene Wenger, king and ruler of football.

No awkward silence from me, I'm glad they won.

Just hilarious how you made out it was going to be a stroll in the park yet you went 2 down and had to go to Extra Time.

It was easy, and we won, don't care how long it took to do it.

More trophies than Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea combined this season ahahahahaha

Good to have the old Cork back, certain others on this forum were in danger of overtaking him in the trolling stakes;)

Am pleased for Arsenal and Wenger too, but credit Hull they made it a really great game and one of the best recent finals. Arsenal need to build on this now. The result also pleases me as it should take Jose down a peg or two now:D

Battered them the whole game apart from the first 10 mins, they put the whole team behind the ball and time wasted.

Feel free to watch our victory parade though haters.

That's because they were two nil up and playing a much better Footballing side, surely it made sense for them to do that and then try and catch you on the counter. Also it could have been three nil at one point, that clearance off the line was a big turning point.

Kieth if we are playing "it coulda", it easily couldve been 9-2 to us. Gibbs missed the best chance of the game.

FINALLY. Absolutely delighted. It was tortuous to watch for so long, but it really doesn't matter how it was done in the end. Even at 2-0 I had a feeling we could still do it, pull 2 back and then go into extra time.

Gibbs' clearance off the line at 2-0 was one of the biggest moments of the match, if it'd gone in I don't think we would have caught them. It was also very important to pull one back before half time, Cazorla's free kick was very well taken.

Didn't think there were many stand out performers on the day. I felt Cazorla had a good game, and Sanogo made a difference when he came on. Ramsey also kept going on going until the end and was eventually rewarded for taking so many pops at goal.

I'm not one of those people that thinks this is "the start of something" for the club, right now I'm just so happy that we've finally ended the trophy drought. HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN NOW SINCE WE'VE WON A TROPHY, MOTHERFUCKERS. YA'LL WILL NEED NEW JOKES. Sorry... I've waited a while to say that.

Louis Van Gaal is our new coach on a 3yr deal. Giggs will be his assistant.

Hopefully this one works out well for us, unlike Moyes last season. Hopefully he'll be signing big names with the reported money we've got to spend on transfers this summer.

Giggs has also retired, so he can just be an assistant to Van Gaal.

Knew Van Gaal was going to be the manager, but am surprised than he has kept Giggs on as his assistant, but guess that is a good thing for the club. Utd have the big name they were after, but now he has a lot of rebuilding to do. I think it might be the season after next before we see them starting to really come good again, but top four and maybe a cup is something to aim for next season, that's if they get the right signings of course.

Louis van Gaal got Barcelona involved in a relegation battle.

Also his middle name is Maria.

Both true stories. Midtable again next season.

Would love you to be right, nothing personal, but I do think it makes things more interesting if Utd struggle for a bit longer.

Two big finals today. Champions League and Championship Play-Off.

I am more interested in the Play-Off personally and really hope Derby do QPR (sorry Troy wherever you are!). They are a well supported club, and it will be interested to see how the Wholly does in the PL. Also, QPR are a mess, and run their club poorly, and deserve to suffer.

Hope Real lose the other final. Up the underdog!
