I'm caught up by the way. I'm just shocked really that they'd do an entire Doctors run without him interacting with Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels, or any classic villain.
I think Ncuti was done with the show as he's trying to break into Hollywood and Doctor Who is a big deal but it's all-encompassing and he is likely being held back by the show. I wish we got more from him but it is what it is. As for the regeneration, Getting someone who's committed to the franchise is a good thing if the show is going to have a hiatus of sorts. Also if Disney backs out I'm willing to bet the budget gets drastically cut and she may come a lot cheaper.
Oh man I don't like how you said that but yes I am. Okay now I get to my thoughts on the Final and Regeneration fellas.
First of all I like to thank Ncuti for his 2 Seasons as the Doctor. I didn't know him as a Actor before the Show started but I'm now a fan of the guy and will support him on his future projects he gets involved in. No doubt I have that same feeling in my Gut that I with Jodie great performances but the Story around them on a didn't help them at all. I will say Season 1 I liked more than Season 2 the only Episode that I can say man that was great was the Well and maybe the Ruby focused Episode that gave us that piece of shit Conrad which I get to him later. It sucks that the Finale had to be rushed like this clearly they had a different Ending in mind and they had to change things up no doubt Davies knew about this early on in Series 1 but that is a just a guess. Do I think Doctor Who will go away well we've got a Christmas Episode coming whether or not it takes a hiatus we will find out sooner rather than later but for sure wherever this is going Davies needs more people in the Kitchen with his Stories because that was not it for me in Series 2.
Okay now to that Finale boy it was something. I have a range of emotions from happiness, joy, to wanting to run over people like a Bull seeing Red in front of me with the stupidity that was done in the Finale. Okay our big bads were Omega and the two Ranis with Conrad and you shitted on pretty much all of them imo. The Main Rani I loved her dearly she killed it as the Rani she wanted to bring back the Time Lords and Gallifrey and you just have her get eaten up by Kaiju Omega and that is it for her? Maybe the other Rani Regenrates again but come on what was the purpose of doing that shit at all? She had been planning this for quite awhile and it ends just like that yeah that doesn't sit well with me. Apparently Ncuti wanted the Rani return and asked for it I wonder how he felt the way it ended for her in the Finale behind closed doors.
Speaking about Gallifrey all the Time Lords were rendered infertile and yet they are children during the Time War yeah I need more on that. So the Rani wanted Poppy to get what she wanted to achieve and yet the Doctor stops that from happening. So the Rani is defeated and then Omega by that stupid Gun that was used to get back to Earth for Belinda and now it's time to fix the Timeline. I mean Poppy is cute and all but if fans are being honest they give two shits about Poppy so why I care about her surviving? Granted the Doctor will help Children he's done it before but you would think Poppy being gone doesn't hurt anyone. and the Universe surviving would be more important in his mind not just one child. How about the Children who was born or conceived during the Wish World not named Poppy they disappeared too??? The Doctor fucking rewrote Belinda's life story to fit so she can have a baby and a Dad we'll never meet. We didn't see literally nothing on Belinda's Parents till these last 2 Episodes and Davie throwing them in this late I was like why didn't you use them earlier. Belinda was a Nurse who had a tough job but she loved saving lives never did she show that wanted to have a kid right now and it was thrusted upon her without her constent.
I almost forgot about Conrad the dude hates everyone in the LGBTQIA Community you saw it in the Wish World when the Doctor called one of the Unit Males handsome and you could tell that wasn't a good thing and people were shocked around him to hear that. So you know who he is as a person and yet Ruby wishes him a good and happy life? The dude caused all that chaos no way does he change the way he feels on people he deserved to be back in Jail before the older Rani broke him out. I'm so upset how they treated in this Episode she did really well in the Episode and yet she's the only one telling everyone Poppy exists go find her and bring her home. All of that no explaning on how she remembers her and then later she never gets to say goodbye to the Doctor but Belinda does who was with him for a Cup of Coffee?
You let down both of the Companions Davies these past 2 Seasons overall. So we get Poppy back her Mother and all of that and now it's time to regenerate. I loved Jodie showing up and helping the Doctor when he needed it. I hope they do that in the future Super Sentai does the same thing where they have the current Season Red Ranger having a handshake and good luck to the next Red Ranger moment. Some great moments in that between Ncuti telling Jodie you should of told Yaz you loved her while Ncuti slipping and telling the 13th Doctor about Bi-Generation. Oh my God the Doctor turned into Rose and that shocked me. I didn't hear any rumors on this as well as Jodie returning but people are talking about how they don't say Rose/Piper is the Doctor in the Credits. So this could be tied to the Christmas Episode and maybe we get another Regeneration of our new Doctor? You can pretty lock in Rose who could be Bad Wolf interacting with the Tennant's 14th Doctor sooner rather than later and I'm looking forward to the antics coming with all of this.
