Anyone watch Black Clover? I think it has some serious potential to be a big show. Other than that, I've only seen Shokugeki which had a good 1st ep(s3).

I heard if you go in thinking it is anything like the anime, you will end up pissed.
It is pretty much the same generally, premise wise (the notebook, the rules of Death Note), and Ryuk looks kinda cool, for what they could do with him (as well as Willem Dafoe being awesome in general), but, it was fairly boring and very cheaply done, with quite awful acting. I felt embarrassed watching that shiite. The gore was pretty great, though.
The anime was definitely better, not that I really thought the movie would be better, anyway. I was pumped for it, then very quickly disappointed.
