NXT from Full Sail University SPOILERS Discussion

WWE taped the August 5th, August 12th, August 19th and August 26th episodes of NXT tonight at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Here are spoilers, thanks to Johnnie Fuller:

August 5th:
* Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy open the show but get confronted by Tensai, Brodus Clay and Mason Ryan. Ryan takes them both out and then dances with Clay and Tensai.
* Charlotte beat Sasha Banks.
* Erick Rowan and Luke Harper with Bray Wyatt won a squash over Mickey Keegan and Aiden English. Wyatt cut a promo about the match and talks about changing the world. He says tonight, they say goodbye to NXT.
* Corey Graves with Adrian Neville beat Scott Dawson with Sylvester Lefort. The Shield came out after the match and said they are back at NXT. Ambrose says Neville stole Kassius Ohno's spot and calls it an injustice, challenging Neville to a match. Neville accepts for next week but wants the US Title on the line.
* Leo Kruger and Antonio Cesaro beat Bo Dallas and Sami Zayn

August 12th
* Adrian Neville beat Dean Ambrose via DQ with the US Title on the line. The DQ came when Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfered. Corey Graves and Xavier Woods made the save.
* Summer Rae and Emma participated in a dance contest to determine a new #1 contender for the NXT Women's Title. Fans chose the winner and Emma won. Summer attacked her after the decision.
* Tyler Breeze defeated Danny Burch.
* Bo Dallas beat Leo Kruger with the NXT Title on the line.

August 19th
* Paul Heyman comes out and says he's looking for new Heyman Guys. He introduces Curtis Axel and talks about the future. Big E Langston comes out and wants an Intercontinental Title shot. Axel tells him to bring it but jokes that maybe he can get a title shot around Thanksgiving or Christmas. Big E talks Axel into defending tonight.
* Big E Langston beat Curtis Axel with the IC Title on the line via DQ when Heyman interfered and hit Big E. Big E cornered Heyman but Axel made the save. Big E blocked a belt shot and hit the Big End on Axel.
* Mason Ryan beat Scott Dawson. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy attacked Ryan but he tossed them out onto Dawson.
* Paige defeated Summer Rae with the Women's Title on the line. Emma came out after the match and beat Summer down. No word on why Emma didn't get the title shot.
* The Shield beat Adrian Neville, Xavier Woods and Corey Graves in the main event.

August 26th
* AJ Lee defeated Bayley with the WWE Divas Title on the line.
* Conor O'Brian and Rick Victor defeated Ron Hicks and Michael Zaki.
* CJ Parker came out with a new hippie gimmick and squashed Baron Corbin. He was interviewed by Renee Young after the match but Tyler Breeze interrupted him and they got into it.
* Antonio Cesaro beat Sami Zayn in a 2 of 3 Falls Match. Sami got pin 1 but Cesaro got the next two for the win. This was described as one of the best matches from WWE in years. Fans chanted "match of the year" and gave both men standing ovations.

A lot of main roster wrestlers on this set of spoilers due to the fact that this was filmed after the unveiling of the new Performance Centre.

I like the spot with Shield defending Ohno, nice hint to what quite a few people wanted to see. Neville vs. Ambrose should be a very good match. Mason Ryan continuing his rampage, he has looked better recently and if they protect him right he could be something good for WWE. Bit disappointed that we didn't get to see Paige vs. Emma for the title, hopefully Emma gets her shot at a later date. Six man tag on the third episode sounds good, nice to see more from Xavier Woods. Obviously have to check out that mainevent for the last show, wonder if it will live up to the hype in the report.

Tyler Breeze is Mike Dalton who was trained by Lance Storm, and apparently WWE officials are high on him right now. So i'll be looking forward to seeing his new gimmick, which is said to be a cross between Rick Martel & Shawn Michaels (from around the time Sherri was with him).

WWE taped another four episodes of NXT on Thursday night at Full Sail University. Here are spoilers:
September 2nd:

* The Ascension attacked Corey Graves backstage.

* Tyler Breeze beat CJ Parker

* Emma defeated Summer Rae. Summer attacked Emma after the match.

* Scott Dawson beat Enzo Amore. Dawson got the win after Alexander Rusev interfered on his behalf.

* Sami Zayn cuts a promo and wants a title shot against Bo Dallas. Dallas comes out and says he can't wrestle because Zayn injured him at SummerSlam Axxess. Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger interrupt Zayn, leading to Swagger beating him down.

* Adrian Neville beat Conor O'Brian. After the match, Rick Victor ran out and The Ascension beat down Neville. Corey Graves makes the save but the show ends with Victor and O'Brian on top.

September 9th:

* Bayley and Charlotte beat Alicia Fox and Aksana. Bayley pinned Fox for the win.

* Corey Graves beat Rick Victor

* Alexander Rusev beat Mason Ryan by submission.

* Jack Swagger beat Sami Zayn after Bo Dallas interfered, by submission. Another standing ovation for Zayn. Dallas came back to the stage and had a staredown with Zayn.

September 16th:

* Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy beat Scott Dawson and Alexander Rusev by DQ.

* Bo Dallas in-ring segment.

* Paige beat Sasha Banks. After the match, Sasha attacked Paige and left her laying.

* Xavier Woods beat Leo Kruger.

September 23rd:

* Sami Zayn defeated Curt Hawkins

* Aiden English beat QT Marshall.

* Corey Graves, Adrian Neville, Xavier Woods and CJ Parker beat The Ascension, Leo Kruger, and Tyler Breeze. Breeze got pinned when all of his partners walked out on him.

I am an Ascension fan so I like seeing them used in more than just squash matches this set of tapings, can see them going for the NXT Tag Team titles soon. Swagger vs. Zayn is probably going to be another awesome match, potential heel turn for Bo there for refusing a match and then costing a potential contender a match? Rusev beating Mason Ryan got my attention, he must have been that guy that faced Ziggled last week. Huge guy but haven't seen much of him. I see Sasha Banks getting a match with Paige and getting a beatdown on her afterwards, did Emma ever get her title shot after winning the dance contest? Am I right in saying that QT Marshall is a ROH wrestler?

I actually kinda like QT Marshall. He does a good job at the cocky prick thing in ROH. I just wonder how big the guy is in the big leagues. Everyone looks big in ROH next to Davey Richards, ya know?

The current storyline between the Rhodes family continued at tonight's NXT tapings.

Triple H came out and announced that he had relieved Dusty Rhodes of his duties as the NXT Commissioner and immediately announced JBL as the new General Manager of NXT.

That's petty cool, too bad people who don't have Hulu wont know. His makes me wish sd went three hours and NXT took Main Events slot on ion

 

[Andrew]

Episode 1 (Airing September 18, 2013):
* In a tag turmoil match to determine the #1 contenders, The Ascension won. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassidy defeated CJ Parker & Tyler Breeze in the first Next entrant was Scott Dawson & Alexander Rusev.

Enzo rolled up Dawson. After Rusev beat up Enzo. The Ascension entered next who pinned Enzo with a Total Elimination variation with Victor doing a flying European uppercut.


* Sasha Banks w/Summer Rae defeated Bailey with a neckbreaker.


Summer took a mic and announced that Fandango will be here and they will make the ring their dance floor. She mentioned how she and Sasha took out Emma and Paige.


* Aiden English squashed an unknown with a Side Effect. Looked like Florida independent worker Biff Slater. He came out to the ring singing which got a big reaction. He gave an encore after.


* Sami Zayn defeated El Local via Yakuza Kick.


Bo Dallas came out and congratulated him. He is glad that Sami learned from his mentor. He talked about how he was ready to put the title on the line. He was going to have a Bo Dallas invitational to anyone who thinks they can beat him. Said don’t stop bolieving. Sami interrupted him and said he could wrestle tonight. Bo went on to say everyone is invited except Sami Zayn. Don’t stop bolieving and he left.


Triple H came out. He said he is always amazed by the crowd and the talent in NXT. Mentioned names like Sami Zayn, Leo Kruger Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville, and Corey Gravea. It reminds him that if something were to happen in the main roster they could be replaced very easily and a beat wouldn’t be missed. He wanted to talk about the Rhodes family, the GM of the Rhodes family. He commends Dusty but says he has given Dusty time off from NXT. He wants to introduce a new interim GM: John Bradshaw Layfield. He comes to the ring and HHH leaves. He insults Dusty a bit. He said him being the GM is what is best for business and welcomed everyone to the NXT era of the Wrestling God.

Episode 2 (Airing September 25, 2013):


* Emma and her surprise partner Santino Marella defeated Fandango & Summer Rae via Cobra by Santino on Fandango.


* Luke Harper defeated Kassius Ohno via discus lariat.


* For the NXT tag titles, The Ascension defeated Adrian Neville and Corey Graves following their Total Elimination variation on Corey


* The Bo Dallas Invitational.

Bo comes out. First opponent is an unknown. Bo beat him with a spear. Second opponent was Leo Kruger. Antonio Cesaro came out as well and the two fought over who is facing Bo. Cesaro threw Kruger over the top. Bo then threw Cesaro over. “El Local” comes out to face Bo. Local hits a Yakuza Kick on Bo and gets the pin. He unmasks and reveals that it was Sami Zayn. Bo is shocked.


Episode 3 (Airing October 2, 2013):

* Charlotte w/Bailey defeated Florida independent wrestler Santana Garrett. Summer and Sasha came to ringside. After Charlotte and Bailey left wanted said they are going to run things and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Paige comes out and attacks them. Summer and Sasha get the advantage until Emma comes out and they bail.


* Antonio Cesaro defeated Leo Kruger via Neutralizer. After Cesaro hit him with a knee to the head from the top rope. Refs checked on him after.


* Mojo Rawley defeated Danny Burch.


* Alexander & Rusev Scott Dawson w/Sylvester Lefort defeated Colin Cassidy & Enzo Amore. After they beat up Colin.


Episode 4 (Airing October 9, 2013):

* In an NXT Tag Title Rematch, The Ascension defeated Corey Graves and Adrian Neville via their Total Elimination variation to retain. Neville at one point got knocked into Graves. Corey ended up turning on Neville after.


* Tyler Breeze defeated CJ Parker.


* In a tag match, Summer Rae and Sasha Banks defeated Paige and Emma when Summer pinned Paige.


* Sami Zayn pins Bo Dallas to win the NXT title via Yakuza kick. However, Bo’s foot was on the ropes. JBL comes out and points out a replay and the match is restarted.


After the restart, Bo Dallas retains over Sami. A top rope turnbuckle gets knocked off and the ref goes to take the turnbuckle out of the ring. Bo ends up having Zayn’s head hit the exposed buckle and rolls up Zayn to retain.

Seems Summer Rae & Sasha Banks are being pushed heavily right now, I'd like a four way for the NXT Women's Belt tbh.

I like that Ascension first won the title shot and then actually won the titles. Quality tag team with such a cool entrance, I say it all the time but it needs to be repeated. Not that surprised at Graves turning heel after he and Neville lost the titles. Like the four week progression of the Zayn/Dallas storyline and how he managed to get that title shot. Got tricked at the end by thinking Zayn was the new champion still it adds even more fuel to the feud.

October 23rd Episode:

* Corey Graves explains his previous attack on Adrian Neville. Neville comes out and the two brawl until referees break it up.

* Sasha Banks with Summer Rae defeated Emma ..

* NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension defeated two local wrestlers.

* Alexander Rusev defeated CJ Parker by submission.

* Sami Zayn talks about losing the NXT Title after JBL re-started the match last week.

* Corey Graves defeated Adrian Neville by submission.

October 30th Episode:

* William Regal and Renee Young are out for commentary.

* Alexander Rusev and Sylvester Lefort defeated Enzo Amore and Big Cass. A new NXT Diva appeared at the top of the ramp after the match.

* Aiden English defeated Jason Jordan.

* Paige defeated Summer Rae with Sasha Banks.

* CJ Parker defeated Tyler Breeze.

November 6th Episode:

* Renee Young interviews JBL backstage. Apparently Sami Zayn has been suspended. Bo Dallas is interviewed and says goodbye to Sami.

* Alexander Rusev defeated Sylvester Lefort.

* Leo Kruger defeated Ricardo Rodriguez.

* The Ascension defeated two local wrestlers who got a good pop.

* Mojo Rawley defeated a local wrestler.

* Luke Harper defeated Kassius Ohno.

November 13th Episode:

* Tensai is on commentary with William Regal.

* Summer Rae and Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte and Bayley after Charlotte turned on her partner. Charlotte posed with Summer and Sasha after the match.

* Aiden English defeated Camacho.

* Mason Ryan squashes Danny Birch.

* Corey Graves vs. Adrian Neville in a 2 of 3 falls match. Neville gets the first pin, Graves gets the second but Neville gets the third pin for the win.

I'm way behind again on NXT, but it's odd that Albert on commentary is the most exciting thing that sticks out to me.
