It has been made official, NXT will be coming to USA Network on September 18th, you can still read the original post below which contains additional information!

....

According to Dave Meltzer Tripl H has had a bit of a meeting with the NXT superstars, he made reference and hints to things changing, and said watch Raw on Monday, so appearntly that is when we will get the news of when and where NXT is moving, and all signs are pointing to NXT coming to USA.

Well appearntly on Raw we will find out, share your thoughts below! Also you can find the original post below

On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer talked about how WWE are still undecided on where they want NXT to go, recent talks suggest they may bring NXT to the USA network, there are many reasons for either USA or FS1, but one thing Meltzer noted is there is still a ton of questions left in the air, and not alot of time left to answer.

"Do they put it on USA where WWE fans are more familer? do they do it on FS1 so Fox can promote it a ton? Do they go live every week? live every other week? do they continue it being on the network? meaning 3 hours of NXT a week? or do they drop the network and make subscribers unhappy? what about international?" Meltzer said

We are mid August right now, October 2nd is right around the corner, WWE, or rather Vince is running out of time to make these decisions, combine that with the fact that if NXT does get on TV in theory Vince would take over (no pun intended) the brand, which would mean Vince is running Raw NXT and Smackdown every week, combine that with the XFL in 2020 and It becomes impossible to imagine how Vince is gonna work on all this stuff, all while trying to battle against AEW.

What are your thoughts on the questions posed by Meltzer? which station do they go on? do they keep it on the network? is live every week or every other week? leave your thoughts below!

Sounds good but it will get worse because WWE will try to ‘improve’ it if that happens and they will just ‘accidentally’ fuck it up to the level of Raw. So, no, we don’t want NXT on USA Network.

Pushing NXT to 2 or 3 hours in length would
be a terrible idea as the brand has the perfect
balance of "Less is More"

I mean if they make NXT a weekly 2 or 3 hour
show...does that mean the TakeOvers will be
expanded to 4 hours?

This just feels like the WWE is going into "panic
mode" & will end up tripping over its own feet
& falling flat on its face so to speak.

Dont forget there is still the WWE Network to consider, with NXT being network exclusive, what will the do for their subscribers? if they just take NXT off they will make their users angry and they cant afford to do that, also NXT is a developmental brand and you cant do that kinda stuff on live TV so how do they get around that?

There are still so many questions left to be answered, also i updated the thread with more info and a new video where Dave Meltzer gives more info on the situation, aswell as the fact that appearntly, on Raw we will get the official announcement then.

I don't know Alpha...

I mean I'll watch NXT until I don't.

I'm one of those people who doesn't feel obligated to keep
watching a show if I don't find it entertaining.

If a film is boring me...I turn it off...
If a book gets stupid...I stop reading it...
If a TV show drops in quality...I just stop watching it...

Hopefully NXT stays the way it is...BUT...if it doesn't...
and the quality drops...well...I'll just stop watching it.

hm this will be quite interesting, given that NXT's prime content comes off of the TakeOvers themselves rather than the weekly shows leading up to them. From time to time they have a pretty big match-up or even a title change taped, but usually it's nothing out of the ordinary for NXT's weekly shows. After all, it's still developmental and doesn't really need to be live or more than 1 hour each week.

Now with ratings and constant pressure of putting on compelling content on a weekly basis, I'm not so sure if it's gonna fit the purpose of the show anymore. I always thought the reason why they put NXT on the network to begin with, was so that they can have a platform to try new things with new talent in a more laid back environment where it didn't matter if people tuned in or not, but now it seems like it's legitimately turning into a 3rd brand and idk how to feel about it yet

This will be fun. NXT being on USA will give the fans a real Wednesday Night Wrestling War. No one would tske the ratings for FS1 as seriously as USA.

You do realize with streaming & DVR technology
these days that there will be no war right?

The WCW/WWE Monday Night War was a product
of its time & will never truly be replicated.

Yes i understand, but the ratings are still going to be analyzed and talked about amongst the wrestling community. And even more so now that both shows are on the same night, same time, and its a big channel like USA and not FS1. The televsion ratings will still be a major discussion, even if its not as important as it once was. And i think that its gonna be fun that we get a ratings battle.

Okay...if those "numbers" mean something to some people...
then good for them I guess. I just want both shows to be
entertaining...and yes I will be watching both shows...on the
weekend.

I think the media and fans will try to downplay the ratings pretty early on. I estimate that NXT will average safely around 1.5 and AEW will hover as low as 0.5. Thats my prediction.
