To build Finlay’s BC as savages and killers and Tama represents the old guard even more than Jay, but even without seeing the match yet, I agree. Shouldn’t bury Tama too much.

I hated it. I get it obviously, but Idk, still just felt forced for me. probably because i am a casual tho

I only saw the last 5 minutes or so myself and Jeff says he got offense in earlier but honly fuck that ending really felt like they were sending Tama packing to Stanford or Jacksonville or fucking anywhere but Japan lol

the first half of the match was Tama beating the shit out of him. then Finlay threw him head first into the post and killed him for 5 minutes straight. just a really weird match imo

like for example, Tama chucked him like 5 times in a row into the baricade and a few other big things. Finlay sold nothin in the end sequence and was just casually hitting moves with a ton of time in between.

Also his finisher fucking sucks lol it's a fucking ishigoroshi Ive seen AJ do as a signature for a decade

Basically Finlay just kept hitting big moves, they teased Jado throwing in the towel but he never did. Finlay hit his finish 3 times and picked up up before the 3 count the first two and kept saying "I'm gonna kill him" and that he did. Tama was stretchered out

I mean, I’ll have to see it, but that feels like a big moment they gave Finlay on the BC anniversary show. I’ll probably wind up liking it. So many places you can go from that finish for both people, imo.

I can't say I disliked it or anything, haven't seen any of the rest of the match bc I just tuned in live when I woke up. It sells Finlay as a "savage" like you said fine and I don't actually think Tama is leaving, probably just written off until the G1 with it. Just was not what I was expecting even if I knew Finlay was going over
