Another banger with Ospreay and Taichi like I knew it would be. I don't know after his Match with Ospreay you don't say or consider Taichi worthy of a guy to win a New Japan Cup or G1 Climax.

A very game Shota went toe to toe with Naito in a fine Main Event. Experience was the best thing for Umino his Stock keeps raising within the Company. We might look at this Match and see Naito vs Umino Years from now as the one that put him into the stardom spot within the Company.

#1 Singles Match
Great-O-Khan vs. Oskar Leube​

- Oskar Leube impressed last time I saw him. I am sure Khan is really going to test him tonight though.

- The Champion of the British! We accept you Great-O-Khan.

- I do love that Oskar doesn't seem to be scared or intimidated though - which is surely going to cost him with some of the more senior members of the roster, but it really makes him an interesting addition to the Young Lions.

- Khan just looking down at Leube with such contempt - really selling the upper vs. lower in this one.

- That Leg Drop from Leube is a great move for his arsenal though.

- Leube really selling the choke well too. Was a really match to start off the card, there have been many Young Lion matches that have been much lower in standard.


#6 IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match
Catch 22 (Francesco Akira & TJP) (c) (w/Great-O-Khan) vs. Just 4 Guys (DOUKI & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) (w/TAKA Michinoku)

- Catch 22 FTW! Although always loved DOUKI and Kanemaru - so this just a great Junior tag team match.

- TAKA on the microphone and looking suave and sophisticated.

- Really enjoy the aggression that Francesco brings out with him. Do it for the Empire!

- TJP is just so innovative on the mat. Always such an enjoyment to watch him work

- DOUKI flying like a squirrel through the air. NINJA SHIT!

- Catch 22 are just so quick and dynamic with some of these moves.

- Is that a Tarantula? Or is that Human Spaghetti?

- This is a top tier Junior Heavyweight tag team match right now. I am wholly impressed!

- Akiro and TJ are just so fluid as a tag team - really smooth to watch.

- TJP is another wrestlers - that really knows how to sell an injury.

- DOUKI CHOKEY! CAN HE? WILL HE?

- WOW TJP makes the save after a great combination from Just 2 Guys! WOW! WOW FUCKING WOW!

- AKIRA kicked out! WHAT? HOW?

- And the Double Stomp combo isn't enough either!

- ONE! TWO! THREE! VICTORIAAAAAAA!

- What a fucking awesome match. Lets see all the stars Meltzer. We want stars baybay!

- Fransesco might be the most dangerous young Jr. in NJPW

- Order more meats and cheeses for the celebration! FOR THE EMPIRE!

#7 Singles Match
Taichi (w/TAKA Michinoku) vs. Will Ospreay (w/Great-O-Khan)

- Another two guys that I really enjoy - but obviously 'The Commonwealth Kingpin' is another level.

- Taichi dressed in white - gives this a very different feel.

- This is going to be an intense match - without a shadow of a doubt.

- Yes Chris Charlton! Tell them how it is! Shoot on these suckers.

- Watching Will is one of my favourite things about pro wrestling - especially in singles competition.

- Resistance is futile!

- Taichi really elevating his stock as a solo player. He still has dangerous tekkers!

- Taichi still on his feet and looking really good right now. This is really stepping things up.

- Incredible Hook Kick!

- 15 minute mark. Are you not entertained?

- He survived the OsCutter? HOW???

- This match is another standout contest - wow wow wo!

- Hidden Blade out of nowhere!

- He survived a Flying Hidden Blade! OH MY GAWWWWWWWWWWWD!

- STORMBREAKER!!!

- That was DOPE AF! Another banger!

- Taichi looking like a corpse in the ring. That Hidden Blade after that ten count is something else.

- Leube just carrying Taichi! WOW!

TMDK (Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste, Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita) defeated Yuto Nakashima, Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI & Tomohiro Ishii.

#8 Singles Match
Tetsuya Naito vs. Shota Umino

- This match is going to be absolute fire!

- Shota is literally on a journey to destination "Cool AF"

- What a cute moment with the kids. A literal babyface move.

- TETSUYAAAAAAAAAAAA NAITO!

- Big Match Feel.

- This is cool. Very very cool.

- Umino is so good at pulling off Naito's pose - it is just so creepy at times.

- Taking things outside the ring - is just where Naito wants to be.

- That Missile Dropkick off the top had such great form - this guy is majestic in the ring.

- Naito starting to look like the superior man now that time is extending - as he should.

- 25 minutes on the clock. Shota already really shown himself as a truly impressive specimen.

- Umino countered Destino! WOAHHHH!

- VALENTIA! Not even a pin attempt though...

- This is truly hellacious - this is what we want to see in New Japan! This is wrestling!

- What was that move by Umino! That was something else!

- DESTINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - NO! WOW!

- Finally! What a fucking awesome contest that was. NAITO looked like he was worked to the bone.

- As theatrical as it was - I do think the Jr Tag Match and Ospreay vs. Taichi were better overall. BUT STILL! Three amazing matches.

- LOS INGOBERNABLES DE JAPON!!!

- Shingo cameo. Crowd a loving it. We love to hear you again!

#6 IWGP Tag Team Title Match
Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) (c) vs. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste) (w/Kosei Fujita)

- One of the teams I've liked for a very long time. Taking on a team from one of my new favourite units in New Japan. I wear the colors of TMDK - so that is who I am routing for.

- This match is so great - if I wasn't eating. I'd have given so much more feedback at this point.

Kevin Kelly: "Olivia Newton Bomb" Chris Charlton: Its not called that!

- Shane just makes these great plays in the ring that Mikey always know what to do. It really make for a truly dynamic tag team pairing.

- A really strong title challenge - but Bishamon retaining the belt was really the correct move. No one wants a tag team to have zero successful defenses really - not for the prestige of the best tag team belts around.

- Two way respect. That is what I want. That is what this division always needs.


#7 NJPW World Television Title Match
Zack Sabre Jr. (c) (w/Kosei Fujita) vs. Tomohiro Ishii

- This is going to be fucking fun. Lets fucking go Zackky boi!

- ZSJ!

- Sabre is just technically so brilliant, that he might actually leave this match with Ishii extremely confused about what just took place.

- Ishii is something else though - such a big boy powerhouse.

- This is just a really great battle and its really helping this new belt feel even more important.

- The back and forth in this one is great. Counters, reversals and transitions. Beautiful stuff!

- Three minutes left. Time to get spicy.

- PENALTY KICK!!! WHALLOP!

- Boy oh boy Zack left that close and dangerous. Great premier defense of the title.

- No bollocks. Just wrestling.

- And he offers Ishii a rematch anytime - but obviously calls him a dickhead too LOL.

- ZSJ got a new solo techo theme? WOW! Excited.
