NJPW G1 Climax 34 - July 20 - August 18, 2024

Naito has had to work twice as hard to get wins in this G1 Climax for sure. A fake out Destino into a Small Package that was sweet.

Umino vs Sanada was a pretty weak Match and finish I must say. I've said multiple times how feel about this Sanada but Shota should of won that bout vs Sanada who we know they ain't running a Rematch with Naito again.

You know when you watch every New Japan Show like I do you you might feel like a Shingo vs Sabre JR would get you in a frenzy but I've seen it enough times to know how they structure it between the two. Still a good bout but I've been more interested in the Matchups I haven't seen before rather than the ones I've seen half a dozen times.

Nearly all caught up with Wrestling just need to get through this August 4th Show so I can watch Summerslam probably tomorrow.

For the life of me I don't get why Yano is a thing still in New Japan. Yano's stick might not bother someone who watches New Japan here and there but for a person like me who watches every Show it gets annoying fast.

Umino vs Kidd could be in my Top 3 Matches I've waited to see in this G1 Climax since the Competitors were told to us. Kidd lost to Naito surely he can't lose two straight but wouldn't you want Shota to win so he secures a New Japan Strong Openweight Title shot down the line?

Goto vs Takeshita had the energy of a G1 Climax Final gave me chills throughout and then you have Narita come out to face Tsuji

Yeah the Match itself you could tell it was off compared to what it could of been. Hopefully he just going through this Tourney and he gets the Surgery right after.
