Trailer:

The Last of McGuinness by Nigel McGuinness — Kickstarter

Over six weeks, at the end of 2011, I completed my retirement tour. I have over sixty hours of footage that I either shot myself or with the help of whatever friend or stranger I could find. It was not ideal - not like I'd hoped or imagined - but then neither was my career.

What is was, however, was an intimate and heartfelt insight into the industry I spent my life pursuing and the final step of my childhood dream as I traveled the world on my journey. Part documentary, part shoot DVD, you will see the amazing characters I met along the way and the emotional journey I took.

While it of course focuses on me, it has an ecclectic mix of my friends, family and acquaintances, discussing professional wrestling from every level:

Billy Gunn, Evan Bourne, Carlito, Austin Aries, Shark Boy, Eddie Edwards, the Young Bucks, Jimmy Jacobs; MMA legend Dan Severn; British wrestling legend Robbie Brookside; Colt Cabana, Paul London, Brian Kendrick and so many more fantastic characters such as Shasta McNasty, Cody Hawk, Mad Man Manson, Chad Collyer, Daizee Haze, Lenny Leonard, and my lovely family.

He only put the trailer and website up last night and he already has over $12,000. He's on the way to getting the required $32,000. Me and fab are excited to see this if it gets released looking at the trailer. There's many cool things you can get if you donate a certain amount too.

So DONATE

Will be donating $20 soon, this sounds too interesting to let it go to waste.

Will be interesting to hear his story about the end of his inring career.

$18577 raised currently so $5k in less than twelve hours so donations will have to be quick. Will most likely put in $35 to get the DVD. Slightly tempted by the $400 option to have WrestlingSmarks listed on the opening credits.

$22,316 is the current total. Less than $10,000 to go.

I added to that, I spared 30 dollars for this, looks like it will be happening but you never know.

I just pledged $35 to get the DVD. Looks like he is going to get a lot more than what he was asking for which is great news since it will mean that the DVD will be even better quality. Hopefully the news sites continue to pick up on this and spread the word.

$25,846 PLEDGED OF $32,000 GOAL

Going to reach $32,000 within the first week, doesn't look like he needs help from the news but if he got more than his $32,000 goal it would be great so his DVD could be even better. A lot of wrestling news sites have reported it so that's good.
