I posted this on another forum and it sums up my thoughts well:

I'm sure Cesar is putting his own positive pro-Nick spin on it, but if there is any truth to what he is saying, props to Nick for leaving, screwing them over, and getting the last laugh. He donated the money to charity as I knew he would, and he didn't let some crooked promoter pull one over on him. Should he have pulled out before when the shadiness started going down? Probably. Should he at least have let Cesar know that he was leaving the morning of the fight? Obviously.

At the end of the day Nick still gave that BJJ expo 100 X more exposure than it ever would have had otherwise. I watched it, enjoyed it, and never would have without Nick's would-be match

Listening to Rogan's podcast from last night.. at the beginning he has Diaz's quote from after a fight 'Train by day Joe Rogan podcast by night, all day'

and Rogan said a lot of people have asked him if he is going to remove him from the intro because he skipped out on the Braulio Estima fight.. Rogan's response:

"How dare you.. how dare you suggest that I would ever take Nick Diaz off the opening of my podcast.. That was one of the greatest moments of my life sir."

Did you suck it up and watch those 3 fights yet? He loses the Diego fight, but it's an epic fight. I think he should have won the Riggs fight, and you have to watch it because they hate each other. They got into a scrap at the damn hospital afterwards ffs.

I just can't. I really can't. It's like I can't watch Madrid or United games if they've lost. I skip MOTD (Match of the day - popular football show here) if we have lost.
