Very good point. My point is that the playcalling since McDaniels has left has been a legit problem for the Patriots. Bill O'Brien's been very shaky, and he could never use the talent as well as the Patriots did with McDaniels calling the shots. You are right to the extent that we can't know how much he had to do with that success.

Ok, I'll concede that we need more work from McDaniels to really know if he's good or not.

You're right about what you said earlier, he will get an OC job somewhere. The 07 year, fluke or legit, was the best offensive production we've ever seen, end of story. He was the OC of that offense. These are the facts and they can't be denied.
