Yeah i think he's got the rookie of the year award all but won, can't wait to see how far the Panthers get when they have the entire team going on all cylinders.

Beyond pissed when they found out it was Dallas who called it since some me being one of them thought it was the Cards who were doing the icing not them icing their own kicker lol.

And here we go.

Sound the horn! Brett Favre is open to another NFL return.

At least according to a Monday report by ESPN, which cited a source familiar with the ol' gunslinger in saying he would listen to the Chicago Bears if they came calling.

The Bears haven't contacted Favre, but the source said the 42-year-old quarterback has been working out and keeping his body in shape. A phone call to Bears general manager Jerry Angelo wasn't immediately returned

Seems like Brett is gonna either have to have a life threatening disease or something to stop Brett Favre comeback talks from coming up.

The "Winners" Circle
Favre is one of the few unemployed QB's out there that could deal with Chicago's O Line. Quick passes and high velocity is not in Caleb Hanie's skill set. Hanie does alot right but still will take time to develop that the Bears dont have in the next 4 weeks. McNabb would have fit the bill a few years ago but he has become too indecisive and slow in the last two teams he was on. Could Martz translate the playbook into something Favre could work with, of course. It comes down to, do the Bears want to finish 10-6 or 7-9 and does Favre want to want to give it one more try.

If he gets fired it'll probably be in the offseason in my opinion which I do think he gets fired if they finish with a losing record.

The chargers looked good on their first drive, and what's crazy is the AFC west is such a shit division the Chargers still have a chance to make the playoffs, they're only two away from first place in the division. :side:
