Best thing to do is to get a franchise QB they can believe in, but you already know that. Don't see why they didn't give Pryor a fair shake, he did a fine job when they started him. Why not stick with him? The defense is an abomination but hear there's some nice building blocks, plus all the cap room you want. You could pick up CJ but you seem set at RB, even though they don't like Marcel Reece for some reason.

What is it with them and not giving guys like Reece and Pryor a shot?

Whisenhunt's available, not sure who else. Don't get your hopes up on that, I'll never understand teams' desire for "the next big thing". Just get a proven winner ffs

I hope they get Reece more involved next season since he is locked up for a few seasons now. He should be utilized a lot more, he can do anything. McFadden will be gone, no idea if Jennings will be back. I hate the idea of investing money in RBs, just put your scouts to work and find a guy in the late rounds who is overlooked. Guys like Zac Stacy or Alfred Morris are there for the taking.

As for a QB? Hopefully we take one in the first if we like a guy enough. Not sure how high our pick can be, hopefully things fall right and we get a top 5 pick somehow

I hope they get Reece more involved next season since he is locked up for a few seasons now. He should be utilized a lot more, he can do anything. Right now you're sitting at #5, with St. Louis and Atlanta ahead of you so you'll hopefully get the #3 QB pick. This class is stacked, Derek Carr, Blake Bortles, Bridgewater and Manziel are considered surefire guys by most so you can grab one of them.

Don't see why you can't just roll with Jennings and Reece, they've been really good. Fix the OL and you should be good to go on that side of the ball. Ran through the list of impact free agents, but you saw how many did dick for you this year, but having a DC who can see "Holy shit, they're running a screen play over and over... lets try to stop it!" will help alot

Bridgewater would be a dream come true. Manziel I want no part of because I don't think he has the mentality or work ethic to be a great NFL QB. The other two I've seen there names but really know nothing about them.

I think the OL needs a center and another guard. We have to re-sign Veldheer, who IMO was a top young LT before his injury, and we should get him at a fair price since he was hurt most of the year. Dakota Watson was a R2 pick this past year who was also hurt for much of the season, but I think he gets a shot at RT in 2014. LG should go to Wiz Jr, who failed at center but was good as a guard as a rookie. Find a true center (signing Alex Mack who has bay area ties would be PRIME) and a new RG unless they really want Brisiel starting another year and it should be fine.

We really need some TE help and another WR. I think Andre Holmes has huge potential and should be given a chance to shine next season. Rod Streeter is a solid dependable guy who should be allowed to grow into a #2 WR in the league.
