Haha, that was such a dumb pick. Like Joeckel but there were so many good RT's out there. Guess they were thinking it's best to get a potential LT in case their starter leaves in FA, but... well, guess it's for the best not to take another bust DE down there. Smart job, guys! :D

Also, "The Jaguars’ offensive line gave Gabbert an average of 2.56 seconds to throw the ball. When given more than 2.6 seconds, his NFL passer rating jumped to 84.5."
-SI

That inspire confidence in anyone? Me neither.

Anywho, wish there was sports gambling down here so I can lose a bunch of money betting on road underdogs like this, but hey. Going to bet Monopoly money against my trash can, beats throwing real money down it. Baltimore +7.5, New Orleans -3, Minnesota +5.5, Giants +3, Houston -4
I'm all over Bal +7.5 tomorrow night

3 unit play

Just put the call in, I'm down for $60 on Baltimore +7.5

-Likely no Chump Bailey = Smith goes HAM
-No Von Miller, Dumerville = who the fuck rushes the passer for Denver?
-Denver won't be able to run the ball. Weak interior line vs great front 7
-Defending champs on opening night should play with pride
-bottom line just too many fucking points

This is a huge play coming from me, 3 units as I said before. I just can't see Denver taking it to Baltimore. Ravens will try to control clock, keep Peyton on the sideline and keep it close.

Hopefully I get the season off on the right foot.

Denver by 4, Peyton is the best regular season qb in the league. Ravens will do fine rest of year, just have a feeling Peyton wants that bad taste out of his mouth.

I'll take Denver by a FG, 31-28.

Peyton gets Denver in position for a GW FG late in the 4th. He is the GOAT regular season QB. even without the running game, which I expect they won't have tonight, he will have a nice game. He will be like a kid in a toy store throwing to Welker.

but Denver's D looks trashy without their 3 best players from last season
