THE RENT IS DUE COWBOYS. IT'S OUR HOUSE! GET KNOCKED THE FUCK DOWN!

252 days is a long time to wait to reclaim our spot as the top dawg in the NFL! This team showed why we were defending champs in games against the 49ers and Packers.(WINS!) Every aspect of last season is LAST SEASON! The superbowl is in NEW YORK this year, and 31 other teams want to be crowned. YOU CAN'T TAKE this from the NEW YORK GIANTS. The right to win our 5th championship in front of our fans starts week 1 in dallas WERE WE FINISHED YOU 4 TIMES IN A ROW! In your 1.3 billion dollar doll house that you built to get your ass whooped in HD! Another season and another year passed since the cowboys are FUCKING RELEVANT! The difference between success and dallas is ELI MANNING to TONY ROMO! 53 men on this roster have the heart to step up and be a champion. Let them talk about the flaws of the giants and why 3 other taems will win this division. We weren't the prom kings in 07 and 11! We don't need our ass kissed now either! This sunday we are walking out of OUR HOUSE 5-0 and they can't stop it. GIANTS FANS! GET UP! WERE GONNA BRING IT! FUCK EM UP! LET'S GO!

It must be easy to compare your favorite team to the yankees (everyone hates you, especially your qb) without mentioning said shit team that lives so closely by. Packers D wont be great but anyone who watches NFL and enjoys what is good about it, ignores Giants and Steelers and votes against them regardless. Its why the eastern side of the US is impossible to route for in any sport. Garbage.

You realize there is a salary cap in NFL, right? I don't understand how anyone can be like the yankees when they are all on the same playing field. So, w/e

Also, i'm from Mid-West. I'll assume you were talking about new york though.

Anywyas, i'm looking forward to see how MJD does with them jags. Once blackmon is back they don't have a awful squad. Posluszney is a tackle machine as well.

Terrible line, terrible QB.

I like Blackmon as well though, hopefully he pulls his head out of his ass.

They got Luke Joeckel with the second overall pick, so I was looking forward to seeing him/mjd. Line is going to be improved. Would be tight to see MJD tear it up again.

Yeah Blaine is bad

Haha, that was such a dumb pick. Like Joeckel but there were so many good RT's out there. Guess they were thinking it's best to get a potential LT in case their starter leaves in FA, but... well, guess it's for the best not to take another bust DE down there. Smart job, guys! :D

Also, "The Jaguars’ offensive line gave Gabbert an average of 2.56 seconds to throw the ball. When given more than 2.6 seconds, his NFL passer rating jumped to 84.5."
-SI

That inspire confidence in anyone? Me neither.

Anywho, wish there was sports gambling down here so I can lose a bunch of money betting on road underdogs like this, but hey. Going to bet Monopoly money against my trash can, beats throwing real money down it. Baltimore +7.5, New Orleans -3, Minnesota +5.5, Giants +3, Houston -4

I think the pick will turn out well, and they had no run game last year. MJD will open up the passing game imo.

There is reason to believe that Gabbert, with an improved offensive line and the statistical backing of senior vice president of football technology and analytics Tony Kahn — who in May told the NFL Network that Gabbert ranked in the top third of NFL quarterbacks when given more than 2.6 seconds to throw — can improve in a big way this season. If he does, the Jaguars will have taken an important step in the early part of Bradley’s tenure. If not, Jacksonville is all but certain to select a quarterback in the 2014 draft.

If you're into quoting articles (I'm not ) I was just saying, can't wait to see MJD, and I still can't despite if the line is improved or not.

Totally agree, getting MJD back should be a big boost. Hell, with Blackmon/Shorts/MJD/Improved O-Line, that's actually a sneaky good offense down there if they can get anything out of Gabbert. Great call.

I'd love to see the Titans do something. Britt/Wright/Hunter may be one of the best receiving tandems out there + Johnson of course and a much-improved O-Line... if Locker and Gabbert can be functional the AFC South will somehow be must-see TV.

Britt and Wright are two good young recievers. I've never heard of Hunter, but i'm assuming he is a rookie. Anyways, since we were talking jags I went and looked up some things on them, and it appears Gabbert has a bone broken in his hand? Tough break, maybe Denard gets a go at qb? Nahhh lol

I am going to assume an opening day loss is coming my way, which makes the day even better if my 'Boys actually end up with a win. Dallas games are like math tests. You just assume it's going to end up horrible, but are extra happy when it's the opposite.

I honestly think the "Boys" will win sunday night. The giants are pretty banged up, and JPP practiced for the first time monday. We lost osi in the offseason, without his help alleviating double teams for JPP and Tuck it may be a long night in Dallas. The cowboys have a really good team on paper.

Haha really? Been hearing he's doing just fine. No way they'd let Denard in there sadly, though hell. If you're gonna be bad you may as well be entertaining! Yeah Hunter's a rookie from UT, really fast, lots of athleticism, but tore his ACL in 2011 + struggled to come back from it + never really gave much effort on the field (just like the rest of the team). We'll see how he does with something to actually play for.

so I thought I had a no brainer week 1 for my fantasy lineup but now I'm befuddled.

For my RB2 in my big money league, do I go?

Bradshaw vs Oakland- returning from foot surgery, recently started practing, but with 2nd team thus far this week. He will play but may be limited
Bernard @ Chicago- tough match up and his first game ever. Role unsure at this point as well
Vereen- will be the change of pace back for NE and also get some work at receiver. PPR beast. Pats may blow out Bills and Vereen could get some garbage carries

I like all three options but I'm scared of Bradshaw

Dammit, now you have me considering this for my team :downer: Take out Bernard for now, wonder if Indy will bench Bradshaw if there's garbage time... or if he'll get 2 scores before then... And Vereen's just too unknown to trust at this point. Go with the guaranteed work in Bradshaw, but you obviously > me in fantasy so it's your call

BTW Rainman, i've been hearing a lot of good things about the linebackers in Baltimore. Some even suggesting they may be better without Lewis.

Yeah, man! They're doing fantastic up there. Daryl Smith so far has looked as good as Lewis was a few years ago (although that's preseason), Brown's getting rave reviews + Suggs and Dumervil on the outside. Everything is sounding fine there, but we'll see.
