Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

yeah, that's Donald Glover aka Troy from Community...

I fucks with his version of All of the Lights. The beat is fly as fuck. He's pretty corny overall though....

My favorite songs from him -

AOTL
Do Ya Like (Adele Sample)
Freaks and Geeks
So Fly
Put it in my video
I'm On It
I Got This Money (we can dooooo what you liiiike)

I'm pretty much a hip hop encyclopedia. there isn't really too much I haven't heard. from super ignorant shit like Alley Boy and Frenchie, to extra nerd shit like MF DOOM and Binary Star...

LOL I need a someone knowledgeable about 1017 to talk to.

Re: Hip Hop Discussion Thread

nah, HAM was pretty much a promotional single. It'll probably make the album as a bonus cut.

Lord Willin' is a top 5 album of the '00 IMO. Hell Hath No Fury is a top 10.

its crazy how their roles revered between those albums

on Lord Willin, it was obvious Malace was by far the nicest of the two. By the time HHNF dropped, Pusha had surpassed him in every way possible. They were pretty even on Til the Casket Drops, but I'd say Pusha had more standout verses.
