yeah, it's actually worth Up to 10 mill w/ performance bonuses and what not.... I'm actually ok with this because I just HATE this year's QB draft class and there are zero free agent's to be had and nobody to trade for aside from Alex Smith.... let Vick and Foles battle it our for a year and then re-evaluate next offseason.... The Eagles need so much help in other places that can be addressed this offseason and into the draft.. Not expecting much out of them for at least 2 years anyway...

Andy Reid's chances of luring Alex Smith to Kansas City just went up. I doubt the Eagles would have re-signed Vick if they had any intention of making a serious push for a new QB in free agency. I bet they're hoping the Chiefs get Alex Smith and take a LT in the draft so Geno will fall to them.

SPorts talk radio insiders here in Philly insist that the Eagles are more interested in EJ Manuel out of Florida St. than they are Geno Smith and they think he will be available in the 2nd or 3rd round.... I'd be shocked if Geno doesn't end up in one of KC, Buffalo, or NY w/ the Jets...

In other news, quite shocking news actually... Percy Harvin will likely join the list of notable free agent wide receivers as apparently he and the Vikings are not on the same level with contract negotiations. Watch out for this signing. Harvin is a fucking game-breaker.

Al Davis announces that they have always been a team to give guys a second chance when they failed in other organizations, while someone at the podium walks up and informs him that the Raiders were the tem he failed with... I remember hearing the Raiders wouldn't even let their current backup QB Terrelle Pryor wear his college jersey #2 simply because it was the same number Russell wore. When you sucked so bad they retired your number... wow. And it doesn't help either that he looks fucking disgusting right now. I can't imagine any team wanting to give a 300-pound QB a million dollar salary, that's just ludicrous. And he's not going to drop all that weight by August either, he's out of his mind.

Dude got gassed from throwing a football indoors without doing any real movement :The guy training him in Jeff Garcia should be trying to make a comeback to the NFL way before Russell.

As for Vick I think if the draft class had someone that stood out as a franchise QB esp one that would fit with Kelly's system then Vick wouldn't have been kept. I can see the Eagles going after Harvin which would be a scary addition. Don't see Harvin going to back to Minnesota after they already had a rift during the season.

It really shouldn't have considering he hasn't been able to stay healthy for a few years now, 36 years old and is 10 million dollars off the cap. Was kind of expected due to those reason
