Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Yeah Reid loves RBs. Charles's workload sees an increase.

Reid just passes a ton. He still uses the RB in the passing game and Charles is well suited for this.

Texans are so meh. Not sure who can/will KO the Packers.

God, I just hope the games tomorrow afternoon are better than all the crap I endured today.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Well I'll tell you what... I'll certainly enjoy it more than any game I watched today regardless of the outcome.

Pretty bad when West Ham vs Man Utd was the best football game I watched today. At least Webb made it somewhat comical. HOU vs CIN was just painful in every aspect.

Yeah that whole defense introduction was surreal.

Now they need to win.

I'm not even mad at this loss mainly we were not suppose to be in the playoffs and we overachiever like a motherfucker this season.

PLUS WE HAVE LUCK, the future is bright.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

If the Colts play the offseason correctly, fill holes in Free Agency and the Draft they could be pretty good. There are a lot of good players on that team but they had too many weaknesses from the house cleaning before the season.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Seahawks/Redskins was the only good game all weekend. Wild Card round failed.

Divisional round should be better. We're to the not fucking around anymore stage.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

I just want to address this matter since apparently everyone and their mother is lining up to burn Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan at the stake for leaving his rookie quarterback in the game for the 2nd half despite the young man being blatantly injured.

Make no mistake about it... I do not like the Redskins one bit. I absolutely loathe everything they stand for from their grotesque hog-smitten fans down to their dirty and arrogant nature on the field. That being said: THIS IS THE FREAKING PLAYOFFS, okay? This isn't regular season anymore. You play to win or you don't play at all. The only future you should be concerned about is next week. There are no consolation prizes for empathy in the NFL. You cannot simply put in your backup quarterback in that situation, who has little to zero experience running that offense, barely clinging to a marginal lead, and have any hope or delusion whatsoever that you can still win that game.

Bottom line: if it was your team in that situation, you would want your team's leader on the field at any cost. Maybe he gets hurt, maybe he doesn't, but the fact remains you aren't playing again until September if he doesn't play at all. Your job as an NFL player or coach is to WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. Period. If there's a cost that's too high for that, then professional sports are not for you. I don't like RGIII, but I respect him. And I would expect any quarterback on my team to do the same thing he did.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

^^ agreed, the only thing I didn't like was them calling a bootleg rollout run with RGIII in the 3rd quarter when he was clearly hurt.... that was unneccessary, but Shanahan's job is to try to win the game and 60% of RGIII is clearly better than 100% of Kirk Cousins
