News on Dean Ambrose's US Title Reign

Dean Ambrose is currently 10 days away from having the longest WWE United States Title reign since it became a WWE title. Ambrose is currently at 333 days and MVP has the longest reign with 343 days.

Cruiserweight title will have as much steam as the US title. Title was never over in WWE, nor will it ever get any attention. WWE doesn;'t need more titles, it should be only three of them, WWE World Heavyweight, IC title, Divas title and Tag titles....The over abundance of titles is the major reason why titles don't mean shit.

Yeah, this title just needs to be dropped by this point. It was fine to have it when the brand extension was in place, but it hasn't been relevant in awhile. Would be hilarious if Ambrose just held it for years without even defending it or it being dropped.

I'm guessing breaking MVPs streak was always the bigger goal. The rumors of his return was about when Ambrose picked up the title. Hell maybe at some point they were hoping to utilize it and make a feud. But now that he's in TNA it's definitely to get his name off that record.

To think WWE gives a shit about MVP is laughable....More likely Ambrose without the Shield had nothing to really do and got that belt when it was time to make that group look impressive with everyone having belts.

I dunno, just think that while the gimmick can go somewhere on it's own it's just a little bit too cheesy? for something as serious as Evolution / Authority.
