How would it steal the design if it added "flags"?

After I typed it I realized you would have a very difficult time deciphering the simple logic so let me put it this way....

1. You said the US Title ALREADY has flags. It does NOT have "flags", it has a "flag", as in the United States flag.

2. I said a World Title wouldn't be stealing that idea since it would have multiple flags (i.e. Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, etc.)

3. If anything, the US Title already STOLE the idea of having any semblance of a flag on it from other titles that came before its current design.

Make sense now?

Yes it does. But it doesn't matter. The point is right now the US Title has a flag on it. Just because the world title has different flags on it it'll still be stealing. Besides the IC Title already has all the continents on it.

Regardless, EC is right. Classic titles are classic. I always loved the '84 to '88 WWF Title Belt....

I definitely love the look of some of the older belts, and hope the new WWE title belt is a bit of a throwback.

However, if the new belt looked something like this:

I would not be upset. Rebranded for the WWE, that belt could be real sharp.

The world title isn't allowed to feature a flag because the U.S. Title features a flag? That's just idiotic. Title belts have featured globes and flags since the beginning of time, and at different points, WWE has featured at least 3 titles at once time with a globe on it.

Besides, I'm not saying they should make the entire buckle a globe or flag (like the US title).. Ideally, it would feature the eagle that has traditionally been on the WWE title (see first image), along with some flags on the side plates, and a globe here and there. Plus a wrestling ring and who knows what else. The belt doesn't have to be dominated by one element, it can feature many.

That's always been my favorite WWE title. Could be the nostalgia talking but I've just always liked the design.

The wings and globe are a nice touch.

I saw a picture of the possible new design over on wrestlinginc. Not really a big fan of the new design since its very bland looking. I kind of wish they would just stick with the spinner belt instead or, give Punk his own design like they did with SCSA, Rock and Cena.

Oh my, that is one ugly fucking belt. Please keep the current one. Apparently WWE can't design a belt that isn't completely a sore on my eyes.
