Magnus defeated Jeff Hardy in a Dixieland match at tonight's TNA Impact Wrestling tapings to win the vacant TNA World Heavyweight Title. The match will air on the December 19th Final Resolution edition of Impact.

The Dixieland match saw both Magnus and Hardy compete inside a steel cage. To win the match, they had to escape the cage and go up to the ramp where the belt was hanging from the ceiling. A ladder had to be used to bring the belt down from the rope it was hanging on.
Fucking Dixieland match, what a load of shite :lmao I did joke that Magnus would be the hand picked champion ala Randy Orton. Fucking TNA man.

Russo isn't apart of TNA.

Blame that blueberry Lagana. Atleast Magnus is the champ, better time than any, maybe they can actually make a star.......who am I kidding, this is TNA.

Magnus seems to lack character. But I dunno, maybe I haven't seen enough of him to know. Anyways, it's cool they crowned a new champ but that match seems....uh...unique?

Pleased for Magnus, but yeah to win it in that kind of match totally kills his moment.

Well he didn't come up with this one, just letting you know that everything isn't his fault. Not even a logical joke tbh.

Did he come up with the Reverse Battle Royal?
Yes he did. Still wasn't as overbooked as Russo's Revenge triple cage match from a Nitro in 00.
