Re: TNA superstar released
I forgot about Madison. It might be because TNA has not been giving her anything seriously in the last couple of months. She's been Gail Kim's lackey and pursuing Garrett Bischoff. When she was in Shimmer, she was a good competitor. I do take back my statement and say Madison is the best thing in the knockout's division.
I disagree about Velvet Sky and Mickie James. The people who say Velvet is gorgeous, are we talking about her face or when she lets the pigeons loose? I don't think Velvet's face is all that pretty and now that her hair is darker she looks older. Mickie is not a total dog, but she's not what I could consider sexy. Maybe if Mickie had better opponents, she might wrestle better, but so far her wrestling in TNA has not impressed me much. I was never impressed with her in WWE. I buy the Shimmer videos and it might be because I am so used to these women from Shimmer delivering that my standards for women are too high for WWE divas and TNA knockouts.
Natalya, Beth Phoenix, and Kharma can wrestle very well. However, where is Natalya in terms of wrestling in WWE? She's given squashed matches where she's constantly jobbed. So her talent is not on display as it should be. If she would join up with the Shimmer girls, I bet she would have different luck. Beth Phoenix and Layla are prone to injuries. Is it just me or was Layla taken out to a knee injury for an entire year and not 100%? Beth Phoenix seems like she has 2 injuries a year. She's like the Mr. Anderson/Kennedy. I loved when Phoenix was on the indy scene, but WWE has a way to kill what a woman can do. Kharma was a beast in TNA, but then she decided to sign with WWE, and there she sits waiting for a storyline until they release her. Back to Shimmer she goes, where I will be content because she can do what she was made to do.
Women go to WWE not for talent, but because it's the biggest place to go. WWE is the mainstream of wrestling. Superstars like Chris Hero, Tyler Black, SJK, and Evan Bourne do not mind jobbing to bigger superstars because they have made it to the promise land. When superstars and women go to WWE, they are doing it for the money and not the sport.
