If LSU had a quarterback, I'd expect them to go undefeated, or one loss (Alabama) every year.

Hell, look at their quarterbacks going back to 2004:
Zach Mettenberger
Jarrett Lee
Jordan Jefferson
Andrew Hatch
Matt Flynn
Ryan Perrilloux
JaMarcus Russell
Marcus Randall

None of them are every talked about as great college quarterbacks.

Russel was the only one close.

This season of college football has been the most interesting in a long time. I say this because very surprising upsets, top teams all around the country still having a chance at the national championship. It is amazing too me. I want this to happen. Ohio State go undefeated, and then everyone else with one loss, BCS would be so confused haha.

Texas Tech tearing apart West Virginia was such a highlight I was like YES!

One thing that confused me was how Florida made it to number 2 in the BCS over Oregon.

But one thing I like is... there is no Big 10 team in the top 25... heh heh overrated conference :p

Man I was stunned when Florida was #2 over Oregon but man alive if they didn't look like championship contenders this week. They whooped a top ten team that was motivated coming off a loss. That team looks for real.

yeah they are definitely looking scary good right now. I was expecting Florida to fall this week. If they can make it passed UGA then they'll be good to go cause I don't expect Florida State to be able to stop them. They won't be challenged again until the SEC championship.

Oregon... I'm starting to have a couple questions about. Mainly about their last quarter defense.

Oregon... I'm starting to have a couple questions about. Mainly about their last quarter defense.

I think their defense playing like that in the second half is expected.. I mean, that's what happens when you have second and third string players in. I'd be more worried if it was their starters.

Well, my guys picked up their 5th straight win and Bill O'Brien continues to show why he was leading the mid-season Coach of the Year Voting. Of course, we'll find out what kind of team we are next week against Ohio State.

Just found out that Ohio University which is undefeated and had a bye week is now ranked 24th in the BCS. I have to cover most of the games for the radio station I work at and while not a big sports nut I find it amazing that they've managed to accomplish this.

I have to say I was plenty surprised that they were ranked. And they were ranked ahead of Wisconsin. Ohio trying to make some noise.

But you know the top 5 are gonna raise controversy. Specially the whole SEC running the BCS. But of course... come onnnn... Alabama and Florida are the two best teams in the country. Oregon is slipping. K-State is proving themselves to be legit this season. Notre Fame just needs to fall off. First time ever I'm rootin for Oklahoma.

We will certainly see what the Irish are made of this weekend... not that they haven't been challenged but Oklahoma is certainly the best team they've faced thus far and it's in Norman... i think their D can hang but I'm worried they won't be able to score unless Golson has some miraculous revelations and Kelly lets him loose

Was super surprised at that Florida/South Carolina score, knew the Gators were good just not that good... Oregon is also much better than I thought, knew their offense was special but the defense isn't half bad either, tough schedule the rest of the way for them

Is K State really that good or is the big 12 just not that good? Them, Texas tech, Texas, West Virginia, Oklahoma, even OK ST show signs of being very good but also have looked pretty shabby at times. Wouldn't be surprised to see Texas Tech beat K State this weekend

Oh and Alabama is crazy good

Well really... I've seen K-State as being the best team in the Big 12. West Virginia was exposed in week 1 when Baylor put up 60+ points against their defense. It was only a matter of time before someone would dominate them and thus far that has happened twice. Texas Tech is debatable. They are pretty good but not elite. Texas has a couple questions on defense. OK State... meh. Oklahoma... they will always be overrated to me. They get all this special treatment, high ranks, high praise and everytime they fall under the pressure.

I'm just hoping Notre Dame loses cause I can't stand all this Notre Dame talk like they are so good when they haven't had that tough of a time yet.

But Bama... hate to say it being an Auburn fan... but they are the best team right now. Completely balanced on offense and defense. Florida is a lot better than I thought they were too.

I hear ya, i'm a lifelong ND guy so I'm probably a bit bias but I'll admit that thier schedule has not been nearly as tough as it looked before the season started (especially the Mich, Mich St, Miami part) Stanford is a legit top 25 team and they gave us fits all day... Two toughest games (Oklahoma and USC both on the road) still to come and I can't rationally expect them to win both of those (might not win either)... Just a fan who's waited too long for this team to be relevant..

Notre Dame when I first saw there schedule though they were screwed bad. Really happy to see them doing well. Oklahoma, and USC are there final tests to really see what this team is made of.

Also not a huge USC guy nor think there team is better than ND. Though it is in the Colliseum, and that is a tough place to play at.

All I gotta say is today... these games are huge.

Bama vs. Miss. St. I mean initially you would be like... what? But both are freakin undefeated. #1 vs. #11
Gators vs. Bulldogs, always a big game. Always.
K-State vs. Texas Tech
Oklahoma vs. Notre Dame

I mean the games are just gonna change the BCS landscape.
