Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Hump, Sasha, Lopez, and Morrow should thrive.

I get Farmar being on the block now, lol.

Anyway, Jay-Z needs to be playing "I'm a hustla ask about me" in the background of Deron's press conference whenever Proky speaks

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

This totally came out of left field as I didn't even know Deron was tradeable. Nets made a hell of a deal as they didn't have to cripple their team to get one of the best PG's in the league.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

How bad does Utah look for choosing Deron over Sloan a week or two ago by refusing to suspend him for insubordination?

In less that a year they have lost Boozer, Deron, and Sloan ~ Couldn't have happened to a better fanbase :lmao

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

That team is gonna be crippled imo. You can't lose one of the best PF's in the league one of the best PG's and a coach like Sloan who's been there forever and still be okay. The fuck is their front office doing with that team.

Only way this won't look like a total turn for the worst for them is if Favors turns into the beast people think he will and those draft picks turn into great pieces.

Utah traded DWill?? #EpicFail #notagoodlook #trippin #cmonson

-chris paul

The Lakers and Spurs will own the west for many more years to come and Memphis and GSW just both got playoff spots almost gift wrapped to them

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Duncan and Kobe aren't gonna be around forever so idk how they are gonna own the west for years to come. Maybe the foreseeable future but wouldn't say many years to come. Now if the Griz keep a good part of their young team and build on it that can be a dangerous team for years to come. But they probably won't be able to keep that together.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Years to come implies 5-6. Kobe has 5 more years left in that body and Duncan has a t least 4.

LA will get Kobe another guy to carry weight (Dwight I'm looking at you) and San Anonio will develop a guy to extend Duncan's shelf like they did Robinson (might be Splitter or someone else)

Tehy are the two best rand franchises in the league. The Spurs have been for going on 2 decades and LA has been for 60 years because to quote Buss "we reload, never retool"

Dwight already said Kobe spent all star weekend trying to hook him up with a real estate agent and selling him on LA

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

True, but Dwight sure as hell can force a sign and trade or trade period. He can tell them I'll only extend with LA, or I want to be there and it is better to take back Bynum (whose deal is reasonable with a team option and not fully guaranteed even with the option picked up) than to get nothing since you have to eat the deals of Turkoglu and Arenas anyway.

It is LA via trade or BK via cap space for Dwight since both options give him a better shot at winning than Orlando

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Prok won this poker game. He made NYK pay a big price for Melo, then get's the better player for less than what Nuggets and Nets agreed for in exchange for Melo.

This after you yelled at me for calling Carmelo wildly wildly overrated. The Nets fucking win.
