On a random note for my team the Sixers, Allen Iverson's jersey is being retired tonight versus the Wizards. What a wonderful ride he gave us with the Sixers and his career in general. Sad to see that he never won a ring after he left the Sixers, but I honestly thought the organization just loved to be average. They were so happy just to get the crowds they had with AI there but they never signed or tried improve their team to build around AI after that NBA Finals visit. I'm always going to remember AI's heart and ability to put his body on the line with every play if needed to win a game. Life hasn't been the same for the organization since those years. Hmmm..I might need to get a throwback AI jersey from their early 2000's

I still have my AI jersey from when I was like 12 lol, it's faded as fuck.. same with my Vince Carter Jersey. I think my Melo one on the nuggets is still pristine though but it was from like when I was like 14 or something i doubt it'd fit good haha.

Much respect for AI, Dr. Ankle Breaker was one of the elite.
