US singer NATE DOGG has died aged 41 after a series of health scares.

The West Coast star passed away in Long Beach, California, in the early hours of yesterday morning, according to his family.
The cause of death remains unknown, though he did suffer a stroke in December 2007 that rendered the left side of his body paralysed.

Another sad loss for the music industry today as Nate Dogg passed away. Now I never listened to much of his music but know he was loved by many and had a good career. I suppose I was a fan of his through the work he did with guys like Dr Dre and Eminem to name a few. Sad loss at the start of the year more a less. R.I.P Nate Dogg.

It's sad when someone like this dies, he was seemingly getting better from the two strokes he suffered in 07 and 08. But it was only a matter of time before it caught up to him. I was a fan of his since hearing him on Doggystyle and thought his solo work was great, Music and Me should be considered a classic.

It always sucks when a loved rapper dies so suddenly. Sure, he did have those two strokes, but like Deezy said, he was seemingly getting better. I remember listening to some of his music but I was never a giant fan. This is still a sad loss though. RIP
