Stewart Friesen Talks In Depth
Friesen acknowledges that this year has been a turning point in his career. After a few inconsistent seasons, he feels that the decision to focus entirely on his #52 truck, without the distractions of additional entries in the team, has allowed him to be more competitive. “It’s been a night-and-day difference from where we were last year. The team has been able to dedicate more resources to making this truck better, and it’s showing in our results.”

Unlike in previous seasons where Halmar Friesen Racing sometimes struggled with spreading resources across multiple efforts, the singular focus has allowed them to fine-tune their setups week in and week out. Friesen credits his crew for putting in the extra hours and making adjustments that have kept him in the fight for the playoffs.

His Goal: Repeat 2019 and Reach the Championship Four
Friesen has made it clear that his primary objective is making it to the Championship Four—something he last achieved in 2019, when he had a career-best season and nearly won the title. He believes that experience from that playoff run, combined with the improvements this year, gives him a real shot at another deep run.

“Back in 2019, we proved we could go toe-to-toe with the best, and I don’t see why we can’t do it again. The competition is tough, but I know what it takes to perform when the pressure’s on. If we can execute, there’s no reason we can’t be in the mix at Phoenix.”

While Friesen hasn’t been the outright favorite this season, he has quietly built consistency and has been in the top 10 regularly. He also noted that tracks in the playoffs, like Bristol and Martinsville, play to his strengths and could give him an edge over his competitors.

Belief That He Can Win the Championship
While some may consider him an underdog, Friesen doesn’t see it that way. He believes that his experience, combined with the team’s improvements, makes him a real threat for the championship.

“People might not be talking about us as much as Slayer or Juice (Millar), but that’s fine. I like being overlooked—let them focus on the other guys. I know what we’ve got under us, and I know what we’re capable of.”

Friesen is also confident in his ability to outsmart his competitors in high-pressure situations. He’s been in the sport long enough to know how to manage the playoffs, and he believes he can capitalize on the mistakes of younger, less experienced drivers.

New Molson Canadian Livery for the Playoffs
Friesen officially unveiled his Molson Canadian playoff truck, featuring a bold red and white color scheme with the iconic maple leaf front and center. The truck pays tribute to his Canadian roots, something that he has always been proud of representing.

“Molson has been a great partner, and it just makes sense to have them with us in the playoffs. The design is clean, classic, and just fits with what we’re about.”

9Ywf0cW.png

The livery isn’t just for looks; it also signifies a continued partnership with Molson Canadian into the future. Friesen hinted that there are plans to expand their involvement with Halmar Friesen Racing beyond just this season, possibly even helping with further development of the team’s trucks for 2023.

Looking Toward the Future
While Stewart Friesen remains laser-focused on this year’s championship run, speculation has been swirling about his long-term plans. With his strong playoff performance and the increasing attention on veteran drivers moving up the NASCAR ladder, there have been whispers that he might entertain offers from Xfinity or even Cup teams for 2023. However, Friesen made one thing abundantly clear: no matter what happens, the #52 truck will remain in the family.

“I don’t know what next season holds. Maybe I’m back here fighting for another championship, maybe I take on a new challenge—but what I do know is that a Friesen will be behind the wheel of the #52.”

This statement immediately raised speculation about whether Friesen himself intends to stay or if his wife, Jessica Friesen—who has made select Truck Series starts in the past—could take over the ride in some capacity. Jessica, a well-known dirt racer, has been open about her interest in competing in NASCAR more frequently.

Friesen’s declaration also signals his commitment to Halmar Friesen Racing, ensuring that even if he does explore other opportunities, the team will remain intact and continue to be a competitive presence in the Truck Series. Whether that means Stewart running part-time with Jessica filling in, or a full-time driver switch, the Friesen name isn’t going anywhere.

As for his own future, Friesen remains noncommittal but acknowledged that he has received interest from teams in both Xfinity and Cup. While he hasn’t ruled anything out, he reiterated that his priority is the playoffs and trying to win the 2022 Truck Series championship before making any major decisions.

Barry Clock-Tower Confident in ARCA Championship Fight
After 15 races in the 2021 ARCA Menards Series, Barry Clock-Tower has firmly established himself as a championship contender. With two victories—one at the General Tire 150 (Charlotte) on May 29 and another on dirt at the Allen Crowe 100 (Springfield) on August 22—he believes he has what it takes to challenge Nick Sanchez for the title.

"Winning at Charlotte was huge for me, but getting that dirt win at Springfield really proved that we’re versatile and can fight anywhere. I know Nick [Sanchez] is strong, but we’ve been right there with him, and I truly believe we have what it takes to win this championship."

Clock-Tower's consistent top finishes, combined with his adaptability on different track types, have positioned him as a real threat for the ARCA title. With a handful of races remaining, the battle between him and Sanchez is shaping up to be one of the most exciting title fights of the season.
When asked about the Truck Series Playoffs, Barry Clock-Tower made it clear that he’s backing the underdogs in the fight for the championship.

"I’d love to see Barbie Stellar or Tanner Gray get it done. I’ll always root for the underdog, and both of them have been grinding all season. It’d be awesome to see one of them pull off a big win and make a deep playoff run."

Stellar and Gray have both shown flashes of speed throughout the season but face tough competition against more established front-runners. With Clock-Tower focused on his ARCA championship battle, he’ll be keeping an eye on the Truck Series playoffs and hoping for a Cinderella story.

JF Valley Reflects on ARCA Season, Looks Ahead to Truck Series Return

After 15 races into the 2021 ARCA Menards Series, JF Valley is satisfied with his performance and the progress he’s made. While his teammate Barry Clock-Tower has emerged as the team’s title contender, Valley is embracing his role in helping the team succeed while also keeping his long-term goals in mind.

"I’m really happy with how things are going this season. Barry is fighting for the championship, and I’m doing everything I can to support the team while improving as a driver. I know my time will come, and I want to make sure that when I get back to the Truck Series full-time, I’m better prepared than I was with Jordan Anderson Racing."

Valley’s previous Truck Series stint was cut short due to funding issues, but with another year of development in ARCA, he’s aiming for a stronger return to the series in 2022.
While JF Valley is focused on his own ARCA campaign, he hasn’t lost sight of the Truck Series playoffs and is cheering for a familiar face—Stewart Friesen. As a fellow Canadian, Valley hopes Friesen can make a deep playoff run and bring a championship north of the border.

"Obviously, I want Stewart to win it all. He’s been a great representative for Canadian drivers in NASCAR, and it’d be awesome to see him take home the title."

Valley remains committed to his own development in ARCA, but with his sights set on a full-time Truck Series return in 2022, he knows that sharing the track with Friesen again could be a real possibility next season.

Brandon Blaze is set to return to racing in dramatic fashion after his suspension ends on September 10th, immediately turning his focus to a four-race schedule in the Xfinity Series as he prepares for his full-time move to the NASCAR International Series (NIS) in 2022.

The biggest surprise? Blaze will drive the #41, paying tribute to Reed Sorenson, who piloted the number during his early NASCAR career.

"Reed was one of those drivers I grew up watching, and I feel like he never really got the credit he deserved. I wanted to bring some recognition to what he did in the sport, and I also just love the look of the old #41 cars."

His Xfinity Series races will take place at some of the most iconic and challenging tracks on the schedule:

Food City 300 – Bristol Motor Speedway (September 17)
Sparks 300 – Talladega Superspeedway (October 2)
Andy's Frozen Custard 335 – Texas Motor Speedway (October 16)
Xfinity Championship Race – Phoenix Raceway (November 6)

Blaze emphasized that these four races aren’t just for fun—he intends to prove he belongs in NASCAR’s upper levels and end his 2021 season on a high note.

"I know I have a lot of doubters. People look at what happened with my suspension and think I'm just another guy who let things get out of control. But I want to prove that I can learn, adapt, and be a serious contender wherever I race. These four races are my shot to show that."

The move to NIS next season is still the long-term plan, but Blaze made it clear that if the right Xfinity or even Cup opportunity came along, he would be open to considering it. However, for now, his focus remains on these four upcoming races, making a statement, and reminding everyone why he was once seen as one of NASCAR's most promising young drivers.

Brandon Blaze isn’t just making headlines for his return to racing—he’s also set the entertainment world on fire with a bombshell personal revelation: Blake Lively is pregnant with his child, due in the spring.

Yes, you read that right. The NASCAR bad boy and Hollywood’s golden girl are expecting, and it only adds fuel to the already heated rivalry between Blaze and Ryan Reynolds.

The History of the Feud
For those unaware, the Blaze-Reynolds beef has been brewing for a while, but it all escalated when Brandon and Blake hooked up while she was still married to Reynolds. What started as a few subtle jabs on social media turned into a full-fledged war of words, with Reynolds mocking Blaze’s suspension and Blaze firing back at the actor's recent box office failures.

Blaze, never one to hold back, took the opportunity to make a bold statement:

"I know people are gonna talk. People are gonna say things. But at the end of the day, Blake and I are happy, and we’re excited to start our family. If some washed-up actor has a problem with that, he can take it up with me on the track—oh wait, that’s right, he’s not built for this."

The Fallout
This news is guaranteed to send shockwaves across both NASCAR and Hollywood, as fans and media alike speculate how Reynolds will respond. Will he stay silent, or will he fire back with his signature sarcasm?

Regardless, Blaze isn’t concerned with the drama—his focus remains on making his Xfinity Series debut, proving his doubters wrong, and preparing for fatherhood.

"At the end of the day, all that matters is that Blake and I are building something real. Racing is my passion, but this is my future. And trust me, I plan to be the best damn dad out there—on and off the track."

Whether you love him or hate him, one thing is for sure: Brandon Blaze knows how to keep people talking.

Tanner Gray on His Unexpected Playoff Run & JGR Future
For Tanner Gray, 2021 was supposed to be a transition year—a season to stay sharp before moving up to the NASCAR International Series (NIS) with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR). But instead, it turned into something much more.

"Signing with JGR was the breath of life my career needed," Gray admitted. "It gave me a clear direction, a future to work toward."

At the start of the season, many expected Gray’s stint with Young’s Motorsports to be just a placeholder. Instead, he shocked the garage by scoring two wins and clinching a playoff spot—something no one, not even himself, predicted.

"If you told me at the start of the year that I’d be a two-time race winner and a playoff driver, I don’t know if I would’ve believed you," Gray admitted. "But here we are, and I couldn’t be happier with how things played out."

A Surprising & Emotional Journey
Gray’s resurgence is a major storyline in this year’s Truck Series playoffs. Once viewed as a struggling prospect after an inconsistent stint at Young's Motorsports, his 2021 season became a story of redemption.

"Young’s Motorsports took a chance on me, and I think we proved that we could compete with the best of them," Gray said. "Making the playoffs with this team means a lot—it’s validation that I still belong."

But even as he sets his sights on championship contention, Gray knows his time in the Truck Series is coming to an end.

"This is the perfect way to close out this chapter of my career," he said. "I’ll give everything I have in these playoffs, but at the same time, I know what’s next. JGR gave me a second chance, and I plan on making the most of it in the NIS next year."

From a driver once searching for direction to a race winner, a playoff driver, and a soon-to-be JGR star, Tanner Gray’s journey is a reminder that in NASCAR, anything is possible.

Ben Rhodes Focused on Truck Series Glory, Not Moving Up
As the 2021 Truck Series Playoffs get underway, Ben Rhodes has one goal in mind: winning a championship with ThorSport Racing. While several of his playoff rivals have secured moves up the NASCAR ladder for 2022, Rhodes made it clear—he’s staying put.

"I’m not looking at Xfinity or NIS. I’m here to win a Truck Series championship," Rhodes stated. "This is where I belong, and I want to be the guy that brings another title home for ThorSport."

A Proven Contender in the Truck Series
Rhodes has been a consistent threat in the Truck Series for years, but a championship has eluded him so far. His 2021 campaign has been one of his strongest, earning a victory and finishing fourth in regular-season points.

"I’ve been in the playoffs before, I know what it takes," he explained. "You have to be aggressive, but you also have to be smart. This field is stacked, but I feel like this is our best shot yet."

Loyal to ThorSport Racing
Unlike some drivers who treat the Truck Series as a stepping stone, Rhodes sees ThorSport as a long-term home. The organization has fielded championship-caliber trucks for years, and Rhodes wants to bring them another title.

"ThorSport has given me everything I need to succeed," he said. "I’m not in a rush to go anywhere else. My focus is 100% on winning races and bringing that trophy back to this team."

Championship Expectations
Heading into the playoffs, Rhodes sits in fourth place in the standings with one win and 12 playoff points. He knows that while his consistency has been strong, he needs to step it up in the postseason.

"It’s all about momentum now," he said. "We’ve got the speed, we’ve got the team. Now it’s time to execute."

For Rhodes, 2021 is not about the future—it’s about the present. And that present is focused on one thing: becoming a Truck Series champion.

Juice Millar Unveils "Yorkshire Tea Ford F-150" for Playoffs
As the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs begin, Regular Season Champion Juice Millar took center stage to unveil his new post-season livery—the striking "Yorkshire Tea Ford F-150." The design, a bold red and white scheme with a classic British tea aesthetic, is a tribute to Millar’s English roots before his racing career took him to the United States as a teenager.
g1FqV1a.png

"I grew up drinking Yorkshire Tea with my family back in England, so when we were looking for a playoff partner, this just made sense," Millar said with a grin. "It’s a proper brew, and now it’s got a proper race truck to match."

A Strong Championship Contender
Millar enters the playoffs as the top seed, having won the regular-season title with 887 points, two wins, and 31 playoff points. His consistency throughout the season with Team Penske has made him a championship favorite.

"Winning the regular-season title is great, but that doesn’t mean anything if you don’t seal the deal in the playoffs," he admitted. "We’ve got a strong Ford F-150, a great team behind me, and now a tea-powered truck. Let’s go get that championship."

A Blend of Cultures in NASCAR
Millar’s English heritage mixed with his American racing career has made him a unique personality in the NASCAR garage. He moved to the U.S. in his teenage years to chase his motorsports dream, and now he’s on the brink of becoming a Truck Series champion.

"NASCAR might be an American sport, but racing is global," he said. "I’ve got fans on both sides of the Atlantic now. Hopefully, we can make them all proud."

Juice Millar made it clear that simply making the postseason isn't enough—he wants more victories to cement himself as a championship contender.

"I won twice last year, I’ve won twice this year, but if I want to collect the big bucks and lift that trophy, I need a few more wins in the playoffs," Millar stated. "Consistency got us the regular-season title, but it’s wins that will get us to Phoenix."

Currently leading the standings with 887 points and 31 playoff points, Millar understands that while his position is strong, it means nothing if he can’t close out races in the postseason.

No More Xfinity Races for Millar in 2021
Another major takeaway from Millar’s press conference was his decision to step away from Xfinity Series races for the rest of the year—at least while he remains in the Truck Series playoffs.

"I love the Xfinity Series, and it’s been a great opportunity to get extra seat time, but right now, my focus is 100% on winning this championship," Millar confirmed. "No more Xfinity races for me this year—at least not while I’m in the playoffs. Once we get the job done here, then we’ll see what happens."

This means that Team Penske's Xfinity program will need to find alternative drivers for any remaining races Millar and the #38 wee initially considered for. It’s a clear signal that the #53 truck is his top priority, and he’s fully committed to bringing Penske a Truck Series title. Millar's "Yorkshire Tea Ford F-150" is ready to hit the track, and with his undivided focus on the playoffs, the competition knows they’ll have their hands full trying to stop him.

Tommy Bedlam's Playoff Ambitions: Championship Four, Xfinity Move, and a Special Dedication
In an exclusive, in-depth interview, Tommy Bedlam opened up about his goals for the rest of the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series season, his future in the Xfinity Series, and his personal life, offering insights into his mindset as the Truck Series playoffs begin.

On Making the Championship Four:
As Tommy Bedlam prepares for the playoffs, his focus is clear: getting to the Championship Four and proving he has what it takes to compete with the best. With a standout season so far, securing 2 wins and a playoff spot, Bedlam has his eyes set on making a deep run.

"I’ve always believed in my abilities, but now I want to show everyone else why I deserve to be in the Championship Four. I’ve been close before, and this year, it’s about pushing myself and my team to that next level," Bedlam said confidently. "I’ve been working for this moment for years, and now the real challenge begins. Phoenix is where it all comes together."

With 2 wins and 17 playoff points in the regular season, Bedlam enters the playoffs as a serious contender. He knows that consistency will be key in making the final push to Phoenix Raceway and securing a shot at the title.

Xfinity Series Move:
Looking toward the future, Tommy Bedlam is already confirmed for a ride in the Xfinity Series for 2022. He will take the wheel of the #22 car next season, marking a major step in his NASCAR career. But first, Bedlam wants to finish what he started in the Truck Series.

"Moving to Xfinity next year is a dream come true. But I’m not thinking about that now. My focus is entirely on the playoffs. Once the season is over, we’ll shift gears, but right now, I want to show everyone in this series that I’ve earned my shot to move up," Bedlam explained. "It’s important to me to prove that I belong in Xfinity by finishing strong here and earning that championship run in Trucks."

While many might be focused on the future, Bedlam’s singular focus remains on securing a solid finish in the playoffs, building momentum for his Xfinity Series debut.

Playoff Livery Dedication:
In an unexpected but heartfelt announcement, Bedlam unveiled his playoff livery, which pays tribute to his girlfriend Taylor Swift and her latest album, "Red (Taylor's Version)." The sleek design features red and black accents, mirroring the album’s cover art, with subtle references to Swift’s "Red" era as well as his own custom black paint scheme that is common is most of his car paint schemes. The personal touch is something fans weren’t expecting, but it adds an emotional layer to his playoff preparations.

xSU6MGY.png

"Taylor’s been an incredible source of support for me, and she’s always been there when I’ve needed her. So, for me, this livery is a small way to show her how much she means to me," Bedlam shared with a smile. "The ‘Red’ album has been a big part of this year for me, and I think it fits perfectly with my goals for the playoffs—it's all about making an impact and going after what you want."

Bedlam’s truck now features a design that blends his passion for racing with his love for Swift, a unique nod to his personal life during a critical moment in his career.

Championship Four Predictions:
As a driver with championship aspirations, Bedlam didn’t shy away from sharing his thoughts on the other contenders who could make the Championship Four. Despite the stiff competition, he was clear on who he believes will be in the final battle for the title at Phoenix Raceway.

"Obviously, you’ve got to include Juice Millar. He’s been incredible all year, and you can’t count him out. Logan Slayer has had such a solid season too. He’s going to be tough to beat. And I think you can never overlook someone like Tanner Gray, who’s shown so much potential and has the hunger to succeed. Those three, along with me, are the ones I expect to be fighting for that championship at the end."

With such a competitive field, Bedlam knows that making the Championship Four will require consistency, aggression, and a little bit of luck. But his faith in his own abilities—and the strength of his team—has him confident heading into the next phase of the season.

Looking Ahead:
As the 2021 playoffs begin, Tommy Bedlam is ready to show that his championship aspirations are not just a dream—they’re a reality. With a contract already secured for 2022 in Xfinity, a dedicated livery for his playoff run, and a strong belief in his abilities, Bedlam is positioned to make a lasting impact both in the Truck Series and beyond.

Leaving With Style & Class
Dubba Best and Bobby Rey are set to wrap up their Truck Series careers this season, as both drivers have already secured their spots for the 2022 NIS season. As they prepare to make the transition to the NASCAR International Series, the two drivers have unveiled special, one-of-a-kind paint schemes for the playoffs.

Dubba Best's "Hubba Bubba" Truck
GQALzOw.png

Dubba Best has always had a vibrant personality, and his special post-season "Hubba Bubba" truck design reflects that. Known for his playful nature and creativity, Dubba has gone all in with a pink truck designed to resemble a pack of Hubba Bubba gum. The design features a bright pink base, with white and blue bubble gum graphics, and the truck is adorned with his signature branding. Best is clearly having fun with his final Truck Series run, but the paint scheme has a deeper meaning as well. Best revealed that the choice of Hubba Bubba is a nod to his fun-loving nature and his desire to end his Truck Series career with a sense of humor, while also paying homage to the fun moments he's had on the track. As he moves to Haas Racing in NIS next year, this truck could serve as his emotional send-off from the Truck Series before chasing new goals at the national level.

Bobby Rey's "American Robins" Ford
JdvRTlH.png

Bobby Rey, on the other hand, is ending his Truck Series career with a much more symbolic paint scheme that reflects his journey and future ambitions. The white paint scheme is covered in American Robins, a bird species that represents renewal and new beginnings—a fitting metaphor for Rey as he transitions from the Truck Series to Hendrick Motorsports in the NIS next year. The white base of the truck symbolizes fresh starts, while the robins soaring across the truck represent Rey’s journey towards the next chapter of his career. Rey’s attention to detail with this design shows that he’s not just ending one chapter; he’s preparing for a new beginning in one of the most coveted rides in NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, where he’ll continue his career at the highest level.

Both trucks are set to make a bold statement as Best and Rey say their goodbyes to the Truck Series and move into new opportunities in the National Series. Their post-season trucks are not just for show; they’re symbolic of their growth and the exciting next steps in their racing careers. Fans can expect fireworks as both drivers close this chapter on a high note and carry their momentum forward into the next chapter of their careers.

Interview with Dubba Best and Bobby Rey: Targeting Victory Before Moving Up to NIS

Interviewer: Today, we have Dubba Best and Bobby Rey with us, two drivers who are set to close out their Truck Series careers before moving up to the NIS next year. First off, guys, it’s been quite a journey. You both have something to prove before you head to the next level. Dubba, I’ll start with you. You’ve been racing for a while, but you’re yet to grab that first win in the Truck Series. What tracks are you targeting for that win?

Dubba Best: "Yeah, it’s been a fun ride, and I’ve definitely had my fair share of close calls, but no win yet. I’m not giving up yet, though. I think my best shot for that elusive win could be Iowa, Bristol, or Martinsville. I’m targeting Iowa because it’s a track where I’ve always felt comfortable, and we’ve had good speed there before. Bristol is just always a fun, wild card for me. It's all about being aggressive, and I love racing that way. And then, of course, Martinsville—I’ve got the short track skills for that place, so if I can keep it clean and out of trouble, it could be the one where I finally get that win. It's gonna be an intense battle, but those are the tracks I’m really honing in on for a chance to get that first win."

Interviewer: You’ve definitely got your sights set on some tough tracks, but your confidence is clear. Bobby, let’s turn to you. You’ve had an interesting season with some standout moments, but you’ve also been a bit unlucky at times. With the Truck Series playoffs fast approaching, where do you see your best opportunity for a win?

Bobby Rey: "Well, for me, the obvious answer is Talladega. Everyone knows it’s a wild card race, and I feel like that’s where I’ve got the best shot at getting a win. The superspeedway style of racing is something I’ve always enjoyed, and with the draft and the chaos of it all, it really can come down to timing and being in the right place at the right time. Talladega is always unpredictable, but that’s the kind of race where if I can stay out of trouble, I feel confident in my ability to make a push for the front when it counts. It’s not just about speed—it’s about strategy and being in the mix when the checkered flag is waving. That’s where I’ll be pushing for that win."

Interviewer: So, it’s clear you both have specific tracks in mind, but Dubba, you’ve been known for your creativity on and off the track. How do you plan to make your mark in the playoffs?

Dubba Best: "Well, I’ve definitely got a little something special up my sleeve for the playoffs. I’m going to give it everything I’ve got, especially with my truck livery. If I’m going out, I’m going out with a bang. I know I’ve got the potential to win at those tracks, and I’m not just going to sit back and hope for the best. I’m all about making a statement, and whether I win or not, I want people to remember the effort. Plus, having a little fun with it in the “Hubba Bubba” truck just adds to the whole vibe, right?"

Interviewer: And Bobby, with your focus on Talladega, it’s clear you have a strategy, but what’s your mindset heading into these final races?

Bobby Rey: "My mindset is simple: focus and be smart. With Talladega, you can’t be too aggressive early on. You have to bide your time, but when it’s go time, you’ve got to be ready to strike. There’s a lot of risk involved, but if everything falls into place, I think we’ve got a solid chance. This isn’t just about the truck—it’s about my experience in these kinds of races. I’ve got a bit of a chip on my shoulder, and I want to end my Truck Series career on a high note. It’s not just about me; it’s about showing my potential for next year, so I’ve got all that driving me to push harder and finish strong."

Interviewer: It sounds like both of you have a clear focus, and I can’t wait to see how the playoffs shake out for you both. Best of luck as you make your final push in the Truck Series, and thank you for your time today!

Dubba Best: "Thanks, man! It’s been a wild ride, but I’m ready to finish strong."

Bobby Rey: "Appreciate it! Can’t wait to see what we can pull off in Talladega and beyond."

Both drivers seem motivated and ready to give it everything they’ve got as they aim for victory in the Truck Series playoffs before making their big moves to the NIS next year. Whether it’s Dubba Best aiming for a win at Iowa, Bristol, or Martinsville, or Bobby Rey going for the chaos and strategy of Talladega, they’ll be giving fans plenty to talk about as the postseason unfolds.

Mike Joy's Picks:
“I’ve been covering this sport for a long time, and this is one of the tightest playoff fields I’ve seen in a while. If I had to pick four, I’d go with Logan Slayer and Juice Millar. They’ve both been consistent all season long and are in great form right now. I also see Sheldon Creed making it; his experience and grit are hard to ignore. And my fourth pick... it’s tough, but I’m going with Stewart Friesen. He’s got the speed and the focus to make a deep run in the playoffs.”

Logan Slayer (#40)
Juice Millar (#53)
Sheldon Creed (#2)
Stewart Friesen (#52)

Jeff Gordon's Picks:
“We’ve got a really strong field here, but the two drivers I’m watching are Logan Slayer and Juice Millar. They’ve been dominant this season, and I expect them to continue that momentum into the playoffs. I also think Ben Rhodes has what it takes to make it to Phoenix; his experience at the front of the field is unmatched. And let’s not forget about Tanner Gray, he’s quietly been sneaking under the radar but has the talent to challenge anyone.”

Juice Millar (#53)
Ben Rhodes (#99)
Tanner Gray (#02)

Michael Waltrip's Picks:
“Man, there are a lot of good drivers in this playoff field, but if I’m picking a Championship Four, it’s going to be Logan Slayer, Juice Millar, and Tommy Bedlam. Those guys have been impressive all season, and they’ve got the consistency to go all the way. For the fourth spot, I’m going to go with Ben Rhodes. ThorSport Racing always finds a way to get it done when the stakes are highest.”

Tommy Bedlam (#77)
Ben Rhodes (#99)

Clint Bowyer's Picks:
“I’m loving the way the playoffs are shaping up this year. Logan Slayer and Juice Millar have been so fast, they’re almost locks for Phoenix. I also think we can’t forget about Sheldon Creed. He’s been in this situation before, and there’s no one more dangerous in the playoffs than someone with a chip on their shoulder. As for the fourth spot, I’ve got to go with Stewart Friesen. The guy’s been fighting all season long, and he’s got the momentum to make it to the final four.”

Logan Slayer (#40)
Juice Millar (#53)
Sheldon Creed (#2)
Stewart Friesen (#52)

Jamie Little's Picks:
“I think it’s going to be a tight battle, but Logan Slayer and Juice Millar have been so impressive all season. I can see them both in the Championship Four for sure. I also think Tommy Bedlam has been on a mission this season, and he’ll find a way to make it to Phoenix. For the final spot, I’m going with Tanner Gray. He’s been growing with every race, and I think he has the ability to step up when it matters most.”

Logan Slayer (#40)
Juice Millar (#53)
Tommy Bedlam (#77)
Tanner Gray (#02)

Summary of Predictions:
The consensus seems to be that Logan Slayer and Juice Millar are the favorites to make it to the Championship Four, with consistent performances throughout the season. Beyond that, it’s a mix of Sheldon Creed, Tommy Bedlam, Ben Rhodes, Stewart Friesen, and Tanner Gray fighting for the remaining two spots, with a few commentators leaning on experience and others picking up-and-coming drivers with momentum.

28th August
1280px-Mosport-CTMP.svg.png

64 laps (Stage 1–2: 20 laps; Stage 3: 24 laps)
The 2021 NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs kick off at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, one of the trickiest and most thrilling road courses on the schedule. With 10 drivers fighting for just four Championship Four spots, this race will be a major test of skill, patience, and strategy on one of the most demanding tracks in North America. This is the first of three races in the Round of 10, meaning a win at CTMP automatically punches a driver’s ticket into the next round. While some drivers have the luxury of playoff points, others know that a bad result here could put them in an immediate hole.

Jamie Little: Tommy, you managed to bring home fourth place but someone who was behind you in points got the win. Is that bitter sweet?

Tommy: That’s probably a good word for it. Congrats to Germain and those guys. We had a fast truck, and I didn’t mess anything up today. When it comes to road courses, that’s kinda my goal. The Red: Taylors Version from Chevy was great. We didn’t do anything to hurt ourselves in the standings, so I’ll take it.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park: Part Two [Round of 10]

Barbie Stellar Opens Up About Engine Troubles in Post-Race Interview

Barbie Stellar had a tough day at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), battling early engine trouble that significantly hindered her race. Despite the setbacks, she fought hard to finish the race, but the damage was done, and she ended up multiple laps down. Waltrip catches up with Barbie after the race for an emotional interview.

Waltrip: “Barbie, it’s been a really tough race for you today. Early on, you had some serious engine issues that put you behind. Can you walk us through what happened out there?”

Barbie Stellar: “Yeah, Mike, it’s been a real struggle. We started out strong, but unfortunately, about 20 laps in, I started feeling some engine issues. The truck just didn’t have the power it needed, and I could tell something wasn’t right. We tried to make some adjustments during the pit stops, but it was just too much to overcome today. We ended up a number of laps down, which really put us in a tough spot for the rest of the race.”

Waltrip: “That’s really unfortunate, especially when you’re in the playoffs and every race matters so much. What’s going through your mind as you’re trying to salvage what you can from a race like this?”

Barbie Stellar: “It’s frustrating, honestly. I know my team worked really hard to get us here, and they did everything they could to fix the issues, but sometimes things just don’t go your way. It’s hard because I know the importance of this race, and it’s tough to see those laps tick away while you’re just trying to stay in the race. But we did what we could and finished the best we could given the circumstances. Right now, we’re in real danger of being eliminated if we don’t turn things around in the next races.”

Waltrip: “I know the situation is tough, but you’re not out of it yet. You’ve got a strong team and a great truck, and the playoffs aren’t over. What’s your mindset moving forward?”

Barbie Stellar: “We’re definitely not giving up. I know we can fight back, and we’ve got two more races in this round. We have to dig deep and keep pushing. We’ve faced challenges before, and we’ve always fought through them. This is just another hurdle, and we’re not going to let it stop us. We’ll do everything we can to get back in the hunt.”

Waltrip: “Well, Barbie, I know this isn’t the finish you wanted today, but I have no doubt you and your team will keep pushing. Best of luck in the next race, and I know you’ll give it everything you’ve got.”

Barbie Stellar: “Thank you, Mike. We’re going to keep working hard, and we’ll be back stronger. Appreciate the support.”

Summary:
Barbie Stellar had a tough day at CTMP, dealing with engine issues that ultimately left her several laps down. Despite the adversity, Barbie remained determined, promising to keep pushing forward and not give up on her playoff hopes. With her playoff spot in jeopardy, she knows that every remaining race is crucial, and she plans to give it her all to stay in contention.

Logan Slayer Talks About the Road Ahead in the Playoffs
Logan Slayer, sitting comfortably among the top drivers in the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs, recently spoke about the importance of maintaining momentum as he looks ahead to the next two crucial races that will determine who advances to the Round of 8. He had an engaging conversation with Mike Joy and Clint Bowyer in the broadcast booth, where he discussed his strategy, mindset, and the challenges that lie ahead in the playoff race.

Mike Joy: “Logan, you’ve been solid all season, and you’re in a good position in the playoffs, but as you know, these next two races are crucial. What’s your mindset heading into the Round of 10?”

Logan Slayer: “You’re right, Mike. The next two races are going to be tough, and we’ve got to stay strong. It’s not enough to just rely on what we’ve done so far. We need to keep pushing every single lap and make sure we’re maximizing every opportunity. The competition is fierce, and everyone is giving it their all to make it into the Round of 8.”

Clint Bowyer: “Absolutely, Logan. There’s no room for mistakes at this stage of the playoffs. What are you doing to stay sharp and keep that momentum rolling forward?”

Logan Slayer: “Well, Clint, a lot of it comes down to keeping the focus and staying mentally sharp. It’s easy to get distracted or start feeling the pressure, but I’ve been working closely with my team to make sure the truck is in the best possible shape for these upcoming races. We’re also doing a lot of preparation, looking at data from past races and focusing on strategy so that we can make the right calls at the right moments. Every little thing counts now.”

Mike Joy: “We’ve seen you perform well on various types of tracks, but the next two races are going to test you in different ways. What’s the key to adapting your strategy as the tracks change?”

Logan Slayer: “Adapting is key, Mike. Each track has its unique challenges. For example, we’ll need to adjust our approach when we’re racing on the road courses versus the ovals. Our setup will change, and we’ll have to make quick decisions in the race. The key is being flexible but also relying on the foundation of what’s been working for us. I think our strength this season has been adaptability, so I’m confident we can handle whatever comes next.”

Clint Bowyer: “That’s a great mindset. But with only a few spots left in the Round of 8, you’ll be fighting off some hungry competitors. How do you approach these next two races with that much on the line?”

Logan Slayer: “Yeah, Clint, these next two races are going to be a battle. Everyone is going to be racing like it’s their last shot to get into the next round. But we’ve got a good truck, and the team’s been on point. It’s all about staying focused, not letting the pressure get to us, and executing the plan. It’s definitely not going to be easy, but we’re ready for the challenge. I know we can do it.”

Summary
Logan Slayer remains focused on the road ahead, understanding that while his current position in the playoffs is strong, the next two races will be critical in determining his fate. He stresses the importance of maintaining momentum, adapting to different track conditions, and staying mentally sharp to ensure a spot in the Round of 8. With the stakes high, Slayer is determined to give it everything he's got to stay in the hunt for the championship.

As the playoffs continue, expect Slayer to push hard and continue his quest for the title, but he knows that only by keeping stronger and staying focused will he advance to the next stage.

Press Conference Recap: Pressure Builds as Drivers Eye Advancement in Playoffs
As the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs head into the next critical round, the pressure is mounting for several drivers, especially Kevin Magnussen, Tanner Gray, Stewart Friesen, Sheldon Creed, and Barbie Stellar. These five drivers are in a tight battle for a spot in the Round of 8, and they understand the importance of stage points in every race. They were all present for a press conference where they answered questions from the press and media outlets about their current positions, strategies, and the pressure of advancing.

Moderator:
"Thank you all for being here. We’ve reached a critical point in the playoffs, and the next races will be crucial for all of you. Let’s start by asking each of you what’s going through your mind as you head into these races with so much on the line. Kevin, we’ll start with you."

Kevin Magnussen (#8, Kyle Busch Motorsports):
"We know the importance of every point, and every stage point counts. We’re on the edge right now, and it’s about staying focused, making smart decisions, and making sure we’re in the right position at the end of each stage. We can’t afford any mistakes. It’s going to be a high-pressure situation for everyone, but that’s when we have to stay calm and execute the best we can."

Tanner Gray (#02, Young’s Motorsports):
"I’m definitely feeling the heat. I’ve been focusing on consistency this season, but now it's about really attacking each race and getting those stage points. The field is so competitive, and one slip-up can put you in a hole. I’m going to push hard but also be smart about it. If we can maximize every opportunity, I’m confident we’ll be in the mix for the next round."

Stewart Friesen (#52, Halmar Friesen Racing):
"This is exactly what we’ve been working for, but it’s definitely nerve-wracking. These next races are key for advancing, and you can’t afford to fall behind, especially with the tight competition. I know I’ve got a good truck, and the team is doing everything we can to prepare. We need to focus on staying consistent and keeping our heads in the game to get those critical stage points."

Sheldon Creed (#2, GMS Racing):
"I’ve been in situations like this before, so I know how quickly things can turn around. Every point is crucial, and we have to make sure we’re in the right position to gain stage points without taking unnecessary risks. The competition is fierce, and we’re all in this fight. I think we’ve got the speed, but we just need to put everything together in these upcoming races."

Barbie Stellar (#27, DGR-Crosley):
"It’s definitely been a tough road, but we’re still in it, and that’s what matters. With the points as close as they are, I’m focused on getting every possible point in the stages. We can’t afford to waste any opportunities. It’s all about staying calm under pressure, making the most of every race, and fighting for every position. We’ve still got a shot, and I’m not going to give up now."

Press Question:
"With the stage points being so critical for all of you, how do you balance pushing for positions with the risk of potentially losing points due to aggressive racing? Tanner, why don’t you take this one?"

Tanner Gray:
"That’s the tough part of racing in the playoffs. You can’t be too aggressive to the point where it costs you, but you also need to be aggressive enough to make up ground. It's all about reading the situation on the track. If we can stay patient and smart, the stage points will come. But at the same time, I’m not afraid to go for it when the moment is right."

Press Question:
"Kevin, with your experience in both F1 and NASCAR, do you think your background in open-wheel racing helps you in situations like these where precision and strategy are crucial?"

Kevin Magnussen:
"Absolutely. In open-wheel racing, every corner, every move is calculated, and that’s something I bring to the table in NASCAR. There’s a lot of strategy involved, not just in the race itself but also in how you approach each stage. My experience in Formula 1 taught me to think ahead, and that’s what I’m trying to do now—stay ahead of the competition and make smart decisions when it matters most."

Moderator:
"Stewart, you’ve been strong in the past, especially with your home race in Canada, but these next races are going to test everyone. How do you stay focused in such high-pressure situations?"

Stewart Friesen:
"It’s all about controlling what we can. There’s going to be a lot of noise, and a lot of things out of our control, but what we can do is execute our plan. The team is ready, and I’m ready. Staying calm and trusting the process is key. I’ve had my fair share of tough moments, but I know we’re in a good spot if we can keep our heads clear and make good decisions."

Press Question:
"Barbie, as the only female driver still in the playoff hunt, does that add any additional pressure, or do you use it as motivation?"

Barbie Stellar:
"Honestly, I don’t think about it too much. I’m just focused on the same goal as every other driver here: getting through to the next round. It’s been a challenging season, but that’s part of the game. The pressure is always there, but it pushes me to work even harder. We’re not out of it yet, and I’m going to keep fighting until the end."

Moderator:
"Thank you all for your time today. The next two races are going to be incredibly exciting, and the battle for those final spots in the Round of 8 will certainly be one to watch. Best of luck to all of you!"

Summary
As the Round of 10 progresses, Kevin Magnussen, Tanner Gray, Stewart Friesen, Sheldon Creed, and Barbie Stellar all know that every race is a battle for stage points and position. They are all under immense pressure, but each driver approaches the challenge with a calm yet determined mindset, knowing that their playoff h

n a major announcement from Charouz Racing System, a well-established Czech Formula 3 team, they have extended an exciting opportunity to Arthur D'Tea, offering him a full-time drive for the 2022 Formula 3 season. This offer places D'Tea in a high-level open-wheel championship that provides an exceptional platform for showcasing his driving talents on an international stage.

Key Points of the Offer
- Full-Time Formula 3 Drive for 2022: The offer from Charouz Racing System guarantees D'Tea a seat in the 2022 Formula 3 season. The team has seen potential in D'Tea, and the partnership could offer him a strong developmental environment to continue refining his skills in a competitive, open-wheel racing series. The Formula 3 championship is a renowned feeder series to Formula 1, providing valuable experience for young drivers with aspirations to make it to the highest levels of motorsport.

- Part-Time Schedule in the Xfinity Series: Along with the Formula 3 offer, Charouz Racing System has promised to secure D'Tea a part-time schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. This is a significant development as it introduces D'Tea to the world of stock car racing. The Xfinity Series is known for providing talented drivers with the opportunity to gain experience in NASCAR, making it a key stepping stone for drivers aiming to transition to the Cup Series.

- Dual Career Path Potential: The combination of competing in both Formula 3 and the Xfinity Series would be a rare and ambitious path. It would allow D'Tea to develop in two different types of racing environments, which could broaden his skill set, adapting to both open-wheel racing and stock car racing. This kind of opportunity would allow D'Tea to gain experience in diverse racing formats, something that could set him apart in future competitions.

Unanswered Response
As of now, Arthur D'Tea has yet to respond to the offer. The decision is pivotal, as he would need to balance commitments in both series, a challenging but potentially career-defining scenario. With both Formula 3 and NASCAR Xfinity offering significant exposure, many are watching to see whether D'Tea will seize this chance to carve out a multi-faceted racing career or if he’ll pursue another direction for the 2022 season.

What This Means for D'Tea
- Racing Development: A move into Formula 3 would significantly elevate D'Tea's profile as a talented open-wheel driver, and success in this series could open doors to higher racing leagues like Formula 2 or even Formula 1.

- NASCAR Exposure: Competing in the Xfinity Series would introduce D'Tea to a completely different form of racing, giving him exposure to stock car racing while gaining valuable experience on American soil.

- Career Opportunities: The combination of these two offers could set D'Tea on a unique trajectory in motorsports, positioning him as a driver with experience in both international single-seaters and American stock cars. This could make him a highly marketable and versatile driver for future opportunities in major motorsport series.

The Racing World Awaits
Fans, teams, and industry insiders are eagerly awaiting D'Tea's decision, as his response could define his career for years to come. The motorsport world is closely watching this potential crossroad moment for the young driver, with many hoping that he will take the opportunity and embrace the challenge of competing at the top levels of both Formula 3 and NASCAR.
