WWE Magazine:

“Ever since the moment that Alberto Del Rio came into the company, he’s been trying to push me aside to a certain degree. I almost feel like he wants to take over the Hispanic fanbase, which is something I feel would be impossible at this point.”

“If I were to pick a dream [WrestleMania] match-up … it would be against him, and I would definitely put my mask on the line. I want it to be a classic lucha libre-style match, Mask vs. Hair.”

I not the biggest fan of their matches, they aren't bad, just like a constant loop. If they were to work a true lucha style for 15 minutes I think it could be special and losing Del Rios hair could be an excuse to put a mask on him until it grows back

I feel like Del Rios career has been intertwined with Reys far too often in the WWE. Granted their both Lucha guys so putting them together makes sense but it happens alot. That said they do usually put on great matches and as much as I dislike the idea of ADR losing to Rey at Mania when there's a 90% chance Rey will just get injured a few weeks later a bald Del Rio would be gold. Add a pissed off element to his gimmick, hopefully that could be the last piece of the puzzle for the IWC who love all the lesser versions of Del Rio but hate Alberto for some reason.

they had a nice match on smackdown this week but yeah I'm well beyond never wanting to see it until like next. It's time to give Rey some new guys before he gets injured again.

Anyone think this could possibly be Rey's retirement match?

Why? He's healthier than he's been. And the only reason you see a limp is he wears two braces now meant to change his gate. He has already said 2-3' more years

Rey is making the most money of his 20 year career, he wants and should milk that for all it's worth, and then he won't even have to think about a second career and be set for life.

Also, methinks he wants to really make a guy, since that's pretty much the only thing he doesn't have on his resume, he wanted to make Mistico, but obviously that's never happening. I think a mask vs hair would be a good stip that would draw interest, also it can add something to Del Rio, much like when Angle lost his hair and transitioned from Goofy Kurt to Serious Kurt.

Love bothe these guys but wish there was more creativity than throwing two messicans against each other.

Quite liked the sound of a possible Del Rio/Batista feud. Looked to have heat behind it on Twitter. Plus I would love Bats to go stiff and get his arse handed to him by ADR.

LOL ADR couldn't even handle a bottle wielding nobody fanboy in a bar.

Batista can just call the Diaz Bros. to take out Alberto.

Del Rio's entire career has been built off of him defeatin' Rey. Not even so much tradin' wins, Rey has just been a steppin' stone. I have no problem with them gettin' a match at Wrestlemania to settle it all once and for all(if that is even possible). Of course, I would prefer for Del Rio to win but if it's true that Rey's knee were finally fixed correctly by Dr. James Andrews then I wouldn't mind seeing him win as long it's not the level of that JBL/Rey travesty back at Wrestlemania 25. All I know is Rey since returnin' has really been hampered and put into tag matches where he does very little. You can bring up the last couple matches he just had with ADR but they weren't long and for those two wrestlin' each other is like second nature now.

Then after Rey wins at Mania, Del Rio can become aggressive again like NEVER BEFORE. You know like most of his career announcer's have been sayin' that nonsense. Why can't he just be labelled aggressive once and for all with his devastating kicks and attack plans? Eh, I don't know whatever.

I don't want ADR part of any Mania feud. Dude just needs to leave. Probably the most boring guy besides Orton. At least Orton can play the "aggressive" gimmick a whole lot better. Del Rio could feud with my favorite superstars and I would still hate it. He has a way of sucking all the enjoyment out of anything and makes anything he touches incredibly boring. Just do Mysterio vs. Sin Cara at WrestleMania now. Now that we have a reliable and very talented person in the Cara mask.

Still dont understand ADR hate, he's easily one of the best workers in the world. He's had some bad feuds but thats the bookers doing.

Just all stems from horrible booking I think. The guy is great but I haven't enjoyed anything he's been involved in in forever. His title runs have been more forgettable than anyone in recent memory not named Dolph Ziggler and his feuds last three times longer than they should. I get the hate, but I do agree that it wouldn't be there if he was booked better.

I can agree with that, Del Rio and Sheamus seem to get the worst booking possible, particularly when it comes to Title feuds, they drag on forever. But seeing so many people act like Alberto is some no talent bum while they fawn over guys who aren't even half as good as him in the ring or on the mic is ridiculous.
