Manchester United have this morning confirmed the sacking of manager David Moyes after a disastrous first season in charge.

The club's owners, the Glazer family, called time on his reign after just 10 months following a sub-par season at both home and abroad.

Ryan Giggs is set to take charge as interim manager until the end of the season, with Louis van Gaal the favourite to take over in the summer.

WOOOO he's fired. That's some great news right there.

Now his replacement. It appears Klopp has ruled himself out, but if I were in charge at United, I'd throw every single thing I have at him to tempt him to change his mind. He is the perfect choice for Manchester United and he has the supporters backing ALREADY. Everyone wants Klopp.

If he truly isn't available, I'd go for Simeone or Van Gaal. I'm not the biggest admirer of Van Gaal but he is a world class manager and does bring some fear factor along with him. Simeone has a philosophy which I personally enjoy very much (like Klopp), but I'm unsure if the current players can even play his philosophy.

And I truly hope Giggs really is just the interim and nothing more. I fully expect that to be the case though. He shouldn't be chucked in at the deep end; surely David Moyes is enough evidence that we need to appoint someone experienced and world class.

Absolutely gutted that Moye got sacked, they could have given him one more game, especially as it would have been against my boys Norwich in a game we have to win, damn Utd board, now i fancy our chances are down the crapper

I was thinking about starting a FIFA Career mode with Liverpool. MAYBE I should do United instead? I'd just have to sell a bunch of bums like Rooney.

I'm doing United at the moment; Rooney was sold first season. I bought Ronaldo back as well <3.

Bought him after the first season? You sell RVP or something? I might say RVP because IIRC his stats diminish pretty quickly

Oh I'm still on Fifa 13 btw. lol. But I usually get an itch for soccer this time of year (you know, the time as the season is winding down to nothing lol).
