Not surprising. I’m sure Truth was loved by everyone. He seemed like the nicest guy.
Corporate WWE doesn't care for the fans. It was fine before the TKO days. Too many bad decisions like five match Pay Per Views, saying stuff like face, heel, work, and shoot on live TV, and ads on the ring. Owen Hart died in the ring. I find ads being on the ring disrespectful. Saying stuff that makes wrestling look fake on TV is ridiculous. You must protect kayfabe at all times on TV. I prefer the PPVs being stacked with matches. It made my viewing experience excellent.TKO has a clear motive of cutting long time people too and it's probably all spreadsheet based bc they just naturally will have higher salaries vs their use. It's so jarring bc that's obviously a stark contrast to Vince but bc of that it feels like a stark contrast to the booking too. Like Truth was used so much better under HHH that Vince, dude was on every show getting serious matches right before that injury that took him out forever and then he comes back and gets this Cena match. But you can't read into that at all, same with Braun being in a hot feud right before release. Corporate WWE just gonna be filled with this
CARLITO EXITING WWEBy Mike Johnson on 2025-06-01 16:37:00
Carlito will be exiting WWE, PWInsider.com can exclusively confirm.
Similar to R-Truth, we are told that Carlito's current WWE deal will not be renewed and once it runs its course, he will be departing the company.
I merged them. No reason for two threads tbh.God damn it, it's a new thread, just as I'd renamed the old one for both men too![]()
That's good and all... but how many of them will actually put it onto the pile of reasons for considering to leave the company (or not sign new contracts with them) and how many will basically forget it happened within the next month or two (or when they suddenly get a surprise bonus check or something like that)?[Fightful Select] Reaction from WWE talent to R-Truth's departure was unlike anything Fightful has covered, being the most criticized and universally disliked departure in 9 years of the outlet covering WWE exits. One top talent called it "total nonsense" and another called the regime "ruthless".
