I'm gonna go with a specific run here rather than a whole career and say Mankind specifically when he first started the mankind gimmick. Always thought his creepy promos he did were amazing and doesn't get enough props.

Right I'm gonna go out on a limb here. It might seem random, but The Hurricane in 2003 in particular with The Rock, the promos were stupid I know. But the fans loved it! And he was only a lower card guy. I just don't think people give him enough credit.

I don't know what people thought of his mic work, but I always thought Carlito was damn good on the mic. I remember one of his last promos he cut against John Cena when he was in a feud with Sheamus and Carlito basically did a shoot on him.

Carlito was hell under-rated.

I've got to admit, Santino is so under-rated on the mic. He could be taken seriously with his comedic gimmick, hell... Didn't Eugene go pretty far in his career?

Carlito was highly under rated. As is Santino.

William Regal I think is most under rated on the mic. He is golden in the ring, and on the mic, and never was given what he deserved.

Regal easily the most under-rated OVERALL.

I'd also say Barrett or Rhodes here too.

I think one man who gets over looked often is Kane, The promo's he cut in his fued with RVD and Shane were by far his best.

Also, just recently, Dolph Ziggler has improved leaps and bounds on the mic. But I still feel as people don't take him seriously on the mic.

Same for Swagger. If it wasn't for the lisp, I think a lot more people would see how well he works a mic.

It's a shame that he has that lisp or else he'd be golden.

As corny as it sounds, I really enjoy Heath Slater on the microphone. He's not the stereotypical tough guy..but he's just so corny that I love it.

Also, David Otunga is really, really good.

Daniel Bryan is quite under-rated on the mic, if he was allowed to be given more time he'd do just well.

Agreed. It's a shame that more of WWE's audience hasn't been exposed to some of the work he did with Ring of Honor, especially those awesome promos from when he was world champion or his feud against Morishima. He's a throwback to the territorial days in every possible positive meaning of the word and hope he's able to show how real he can be on television soon. In my mind he's a better microphone worker than Benoit, who I'm only bringing up because of their similar in ring styles.
