So, ive always been a Mortal Kombat fan, and if this trailer is anything like how the game play will be, then im pretty excited!

I think thats how they all are lol. I was just playing Mortal Kombat vs DC universe on ps3, and the controls are so specific I find it pretty difficult. Graphics look ridiculous though, but I highly doubt that is EXACTLY how they will look

MK vs. DC was horrible. It's cool the first few fights but after that its like... DUDE!

MK 9... enjoyable but got old quick. I liked the inclusion of Freddie ad stuff but it just wasn't enough.

This one looks like a new style of gameplay and everything. I think this one can have a longer playability to it. IF it plays like it does in the trailer and not mash buttons to get them to fight like that.

Can't stand fighting games theres nothing to them. It's like wrestling games without the story mode pfft nothing to do as once you get to a point you can win every time so what's the point.

Well good to know that i have the WORST one of them all lol. I have to look through my stacks, cause im pretty sure i have another MK somewhere. Im not sure what they could do for better playability though, it is very similar in every game.

MK9 was fantastic. The low latency online and King of the Hill REALLY upped the replay value for me. Netherrealms found a way to bring the old school feeling of waiting in line at the arcade to play to a console. Respect.

I have not given MK9 an honest shot, looks like I know what im doing tonight.

I don't know how well the online community is still going on MK9, but if you can get into a King of the Hill session, it's awesome. There are achievement/trophies for the mode, as well. I figure with the MKX announcement today, some people will pull it out.

But to reference an earlier point, all fighters are button-mashy. Don't play wiith button mashers and play with people who actually WANT to be good at the game. I have a circle of friends who played almost religiously. Scorpion was the cheap character, but my buddy AJ was an artist of the whole thing. His Noob vs my Skarlet was always a fun fight.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I have a buddy who is really into too, he bought the joystick controller for the game specifically too. I thought it was really awesome lookin

Gosh, I haven't really gotten into a MK game in YEARS! I think the last one I played a decent amount of time in was Deadly Alliance on the Gamecube (lol). This trailer looks pretty cool, but I'm interested to see the gameplay and any modes or features they decide to put in this game... takes a lot for me to get invested in a fighting game these days.

I believe this video was meant to show their capability, there is still another year before the game comes out and they can get this fantastic looking demo video. Even if the camera doesn't juggle like it does in the video, if these are the textures we can be looking at while in game, I could see this being the most aesthetically pleasing fighter since Clayfighter.

I will say that I did enjoy playing Mortal Kombat: Deception quite a bit. And I liked Armageddon mainly cause I could play as everyone.

I think those two were my faves out of them all.

I hope they carry on with the strong storytelling Netherealms is now known for, and use an alternate story from MK 4-6(since the last one retconned 1-3) and would allow for the third game in the series to return to MK vs. DC since they now have a strong roster with Injustice, so there shouldn't be balance issues with Flash & Captain Marvel(Shazam).
