Well... Cruz straight dominated on that one fight. And so glad to see Cat back. She should be able to bring the fight to Rhonda. But White is already declaring Cruz the next challenger... which part of me doesn't mind but I dunno.

Connor is supposed to be the next big thing in the featherweight division but I'm not completely sold on him yet either.

Rory finally... FINALLY scored a finish. He may have secured his shot for after Lawler/Hendricks. But I'm just curious... what more is Cerrone going to have to do to secure a lightweight shot after the Melendez/Pettis fight. The guy has been everything that Dana craves in a fighter and yet its like... I dunno. But same can be said for Jacare although in his case he hasn't fought the top top tier yet.

Then there is Gus and what are they going to do with him since Anthony Johnson most likely is done cause some woman decided to say he beat her while he was out of the country at the time that it was supposed to have happened. Word is that Gus wants Shad. But its like... is Shad even gonna come back? its like he is in absolutely no rush.

I say it like it's as simple as that, but all Rashad has to do (you would think) is beat Gus and he gets a shot at Jones again. That's a huge incentive to want to come back.

After seeing some training vids of Cain, all I have to say is the trainers at AKA are morons. I'm surprised Cain hasn't had more knee injuries.

I'm just wondering if there is a way they can train a little lighter cause there seems to be so many injuries lately

It's almost like they are missing something special that helps their bodies recover when they train.

MMA Training isn't any different than old Chute Box days, it's that stupid "regulation" is making these guys not use supplements that made sure these guys weren't getting hurt in training.

I want random testing on the guys who are doing the most talking about it. Tim Kennedy and Bisping should be piss tested 2nd week into training camp. And we'll see what we really got. I only bring them up, because it's people like them who caused this kind of shit.

Bisping did talk up a huge huge bit about it.

But they need somethin cause we are losing championship fights, losing fights, big money fights, losing shows. And with all these shows UFC got goin on they can't afford too many injuries.

I'm a big Bisping fan but it'd be hilarious if he did get popped for PEDs.

MMA fighters ever need to learn to train smarter, going all out in sparring every day is stupid, as is doing crossfit workouts or to get on more roids so they recover quicker.

Well the show last night...

Phil Davis is so freakin boring. I mean really I know the goal is to win but just mannnn... he rarely goes for a finish when he has the guy down. Its like get him down and hold him. I'd rather watch Machida dodge in and out.

Main event... that was a good fight. Controversial couple of punches at the end of the first round after the bell but other than that... very good fight.

Yeah Aldo/Mendes was a pretty great fight to be honest, both guys continuously rocking the other and knocking them down. Good shit.

So there were a couple of fight nights recently.

Rockhold rocked, beat, and choked out Bisping for his win. Not a title contender yet but he definitely helped his case whereas Bisping most likely won't ever get a title shot. Whenever he is in the big fight he seems to lose.

Then last night... Shogun vs. OSP... not even a minute in... Shogun rushes in and gets caught in the jaw and is finished. It maybe time for Shogun to consider other options. Shogun is reaching that Liddell level. Still real talented on offense and still a danger if he connects... but he can't take much abuse anymore.

Glad Bitchping lost and not even a day later he started excuses.

Shogun is done and had been since he beat Machida. Also, wonder which excuse his fans will have for this one.

They'll most likely say he was injured. It was his knees or his shoulder. But he just got flat caught. Barely 40 seconds in he lunged in for a punch and it missed and OSP connected on the chin and that was it. There isn't any excuse that could work heh.

But Bisping... well... gatekeeper status seems to work.

Just read... Shogun is considering a drop in weight.

not sure how that'll do for him. I mean it did do well for Machida but... Rua? At middleweight? Could it work?
