This just furthers the poor judgment in having like 2 cards a week. Everything is so thin that now we have prelim fighters going up to the main event.

This is a god awful card, watching it out of morbid curiosity.

I mean its bad cause this was virtually a one card show. Me and my sister were thinking about going to watch the show but after Barao got pulled we were like nah. I had the fight going on online... and forgot I had it on. It had virtually 0 curb appeal. The Fox cards look so much better than the PPV cards. This looked like it should have been a Fox Sports 1 card.

But then that's another problem with UFC now... they don't promote these new guys that well at all. They just stick them on the main card of a PPV and people are like... who are these guys? I mean I'm not the most avid or most knowledgeable MMA fan but I'm not a slouch that just picked up on it a year or two ago. I try to keep updated but most of these guys are virtually unknown. Why not stick them on Fox Sports 1 cards? Or even on the Fox prelim cards? Give them some exposure so when they get to the PPV fans will at least look forward to the card instead of only knowing the guys in the main event and possibly the co-main event.

Then again the guys are just bland. They're like tap water... no flavor, no nothing. People like Bisping get noticed cause he speaks his mind but he can also fight. These guys can most likely fight too but the interest is so minimal.

UFC really needs to start stacking the PPVs and put all the nobodies on the free cards. If they want people to pay $60 it has to be worth it, at least worth more than a free to air card. But it seems like most of the big name exciting fighters are put on free cards thesedays while PPVs get 1 or 2 big name important fights at most. Ass backwards business model.

To me it looks like they are putting out shit PPVs to get more people to subscribe to UFC Fightpass, why else would a random Fox show and overseas cards on their network be infinitely better than the last PPV?

Expected Rothwell to beat Overeem and Fight Night wasn't available in Canada.

That Bellator brawl stole all the laughter. But Overeem needs to retire, I'm a big fan of his and seeing him get KO'd by bums like Rothwell is beyond sad.

I'd give a shit about Overeem if he didn't act so entitled and wasn't such a can.

Overeem just need to head on over to Bellator like all the other guys and start over. He came into UFC with all of this hype and he hasn't been able to cut it at all.

But that scuffle with Tito/Bonnar... its like really? Isn't that almost how the King Mo/Rampage scuffle started as well? It's like they're trying to go the pro wrestling route to build up these fights.

Straw weights? I'll probably not be watching. Haven't seen a TUF in almost 2 years.

So that UFC PPV last night was pretty fucking sweet, glad I tuned in for it.

Cruz and McGregor looked like fucking animals, Cat & Cerrone are beasts aswell for surviving their first rounds and going on to get the wins. Skipped the main event though

Didn't catch the early UFC show, but watched the Canadian one.....didn't know almost any of them and Rory beat some scrub with leg kicks.
