The biggest moment for me had to be seeing the Jon Jones/Rashad Evans fight live. Even though the fight was a snore and the show as a whole was rather lackluster... just bein there live was freakin awesome.

But this year... I dunno. We saw JDS reach the top. We saw the resurgence of Mir, Bendo get to the top. The rise of Rory. But I'm with NMS... get rid of UFC on Fuel. Its pointless. Keep it to FX, Fox, and PPV.

Josh Koscheck and Robbie Lawler agreed to fight at UFC 157, yet to be confirmed by the UFC.

Not a whole lot of news around the last few days, thought I'd get some kind of discussion going on here though.

What event that has been announced for 2013 are you most looking forward too?

Probably UFC 156 simply because of Ubereems return, the rest of that card doesnt really interest me, I probably wont even watch Edgars gift title shot for dropping down a weight class.

Two particular fights I'm looking forward to - Edgar dethroning Aldo and Glover booking Rampage in for facial reconstruction.

Also, getting my crystal ball out I can see Melvin Guillard beating Varner, then Maynard then Pettis and finally KO R1 Bendo in Dec 2013 to become new lightweight champ. No bias, obvs.

Short news from Dana's post 155 media scrums that doesn't really warrant a thread -

Anderson has signed a new 10 fight deal. No idea why, mind you, as after Bisping/Weidman/GSP/Bones theres nothing for him to do.

Bisping is 100% guaranteed no.1 contender if he beats Belfort, and that is a big if.

Nate Marquardt and Gilbert Melendez will "probably" get title shots right away when they come over. That means both Pettis (assuming he beats Cerrone) and Hendricks could be waiting even longer than expected.

UFC have booked MSG for November 20th 2013, their 20th anniversary even though they arent licensed in New York. Dana has admitted that Jon Jones vs Anderson Silva is the likely headliner should they get legalised there.

Still no news on whether Josh Barnett will come over.

Velasquez said that Cormier will probably be moving down to light heavy in the UFC due to their camp mate thing they have going on.

MSG? Oh man... they better get legalized... New York better wake up and do this. That'd be awesomely huge.

Thats some pretty good news all round.

10 more Anderson Silva matches is awesome.

Cormier at LHW could be a beast.

Silva-Bones at MSG would be huge.

Surely that 10 deal fight can't be true, I can't see why any organsation would sign any fighter to a ten fight deal especially a fighter that is 37. He is the number one fighter out there by a fair way but still that is a massive risk to take. Even a five fight deal would be a lot for a 37 year old in my opinion. I am struggling to come up with 10 opponents for him as well.

Great news that Bisping gets a shot if he beats Belfort but I will believe it if when I see it.

Bisping providing he wins, Weidman who everyone seems to have a massive boner over, GSP, Jones and was even talk of Nick Diaz. So that's just 5 I can think of.

Anderson doesn't need a new deal, championship clause has been fucking him in the ass for over 5 years now. But atleast it's nice to know he is actually going to get real money out of signing a 10 fight deal.

Some pretty decent fights tonight on Strikeforce. Daniel cormie's first ufc fight has been announced as well. April 20th he will fight frank Mir. I believe that's ufc 159 which is headlined by Jones-Sonnen.
