My mate ordered the tickets as soon as it was announced, £55 was pretty steep considering the undercard is weak as hell but the main is solid.

Big Barao fan so obvs have to go to this.

*double post 4 teh lulz*

Dana White has been giving an interview for the Fox show hype annnnnndddd....

* Nick Diaz is gonna be fighting GSP next, Hendricks will have a fight in the interim (he's since said on Twitter that he'll sit out if he doesn't get the title shot, so make of that what you will)

* Ronda Rousey will make her UFC debut at UFC 157 in March against Liz Carmouche, it will main event (ugh) .....Cyborg gets the winner.

* Shogun vs Gus is for the #1 contender spot, but of course "ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN YOU KNOW, WE'LL SEE"

* Phil Davis is off the UFC 155 card due to Griffin's injury as they couldn't find a short notice fight for him.

More like #1 contender until he decides he wants another #1 contender match because he doesn't like the matchup.

I have absolutely no desire to see Shogun or Gus v Jones. JBJ would murder Shogun even worse this time around. Jones has only gotten better, Shogun has got even slower, lost even more technique and has even worse cardio. And Gus, I've never seen anything special from him, especially nothing to suggest he could do what Shogun, Machida, Belfort, Rashad, Rampage couldn't do. Machida v Hendo seems like a better contenders fight. And anyway what is with the big rush to have contenders lined up for Jones a year in advance? Jones-Sonnen doesnt happen till like April, so Jones v Shogun/Gus wont happen till like September/October at the earliest.

Totally forgot about Hendo.

If Shogun beat Gus and gets the title shot even if Hendo beats Machida, he has a right to feel screwed. Seeing the size difference at the staredown makes me think theres not a chance Shogun will win though.

Also Jake Shields and Johnny Hendricks are feuding on Twitter now, that fight will likely happen.

Wanderlei Silva may be returning to the octagon when the UFC heads back to Japan in a few months, who would you like to see him fight?

A few names that come to mind are, Jake Shields or Akiyama. Also a rumor he'll be fighting at 205, in which case he could fight Vera or something.

EDIT: Brian Stann vs. Wanderlei Silva booked for UFC on Fuel 8 in Japan.

Bellator had to cancel their lightweight title fight because one of the dudes was under 21 and the casino wouldn't let him in......what fucking amateurs lol.

Also Palhares pisses me off, man. No heart. At least Lombard finally showed why he was brought into the UFC, Pearson and Mendes got decent KO wins too.

Jamie Varner got sick with the flu or something, his fight with Melvin Guillard has been cancelled for tonight, likely to be an addition to UFC 156.

Cork's probably glad he didn't have to hear / see his boy lose again.
