Bit too soon for Glover imo, but I did think that about Gus too.

Not gonna grumble though, should be a decent fight regardless. Hope Jones moves up to Heavy after this though as he'd of cleared out 205.

I think Glover can take it to him but if Jones does win... it might be good to either move up or look for a super fight. But if Cormier drops after his fight with Nelson... then we already have our next challenger if Jones can beat Glover. But after Cormier... that would be pretty much it for the division.

I don't see a post or thread or anything for it... but there is the Maia vs. Shields fight happening on Wednesday. Its a pretty decent card for a Wednesday. Of coruse I'm looking forward to Thiago Silva and hoping he can make some noise. Plus I'm hoping Shields can do something finally.

Was just watching Bellator cause the games I wanted to watch were already over.

I was only able to catch Eddie Alverez vs. Michael Chandler for the lightweight title... and mannnn I have to say Chandler got cheated. He clearly won three of those rounds. But somehow Eddie won it. Although via split decision... it still just doesn't feel right.

It was one of those fights that was that close it could go either way without being a robbery. Chandler was winning the wrestling but Alvarez did more damage. Great fight though.

It was a good fight... just felt like Alvarez couldn't get a good thing going except for two of those rounds.

Can't believe Alvarez lasted 5 rounds, especially against Chandler. Top 5 LW.

Couldn't believe Curran getting beat by a nobody, and wondered why Alvarez got the decision seeing as Bjorn wants that title off him to kill his stock.

So did anybody ever catch that UFC 20 Year Anniversary documentary that was on not so long back? Just got done watching it now and thought it was pretty damn excellent in all honesty.

It's actually so cringeworthy seeing how it originated and how it literally was no rules, was uncomfortable for me to watch even on here.

Loved the old school UFC, Pat Smith was a fucking warrior, had that Sumo wrestlers teeth still in his foot when he fought Royce.

Shamrock vs. Oleg Taktorov still one of the greatest fights of all time. UFC's 1-15 was very profitable until it was thrown off PPV. Trufax

Funny how Shamrock doesn't get the love that the original TUF cast gets, because he and Tito were the ones who kept that company afloat during the dark days. Shamrock/Gracie and Shamrock/Ortiz were one of their highest selling PPVs until the boom of 07.
