Precisely, I know what you're getting at, and I can't honestly say I agree with how they went about getting the evidence. It felt like a witch hunt, but I can't help but feel like the right thing was done. The year sentence does feel extreme, when in comparison to Braun like you noted, was only suspended 65.
As much as I hate the Yankees, I fine the A Rod situation one of the absolute worst and most biased things the current MLB has done. If you leave out 2003, the guy has had no other failed tests. He's notorious for being cocky and a power hitter, so where else will the MLB and media resort to other than drugs.

Imo.he will best be known as a great regular season hitter who chokes in October

And Houston (aka, my beloved Astros) will finish dead last in the AL West again.

wk
lmao give it another 3-5 years, your team just finally dumped all their shit contracts out. In your favor, you will get 25 mil extra this season, which should bring your payroll up to a solid 38-41 mil. Sad market man.

Shut the doors Selig, it's over.

The evidence is just another ploy by the MLB to get A-Rod out. In my eyes if the guy never failed a drug test, then he's clean. MLB is doing whatever they can to get him out of the MLB because you got every idiot out there accusing him of drugs.
Top 5 dumbest comments i have ever seen. Accusing him? He is the Lance Armstrong of MLB, remove head from ass and :gtfo:

You almost made it a week, i saw you got a thread closed 2 days ago.

That theead want even my fault, the guy overreacted like a child.

As for this case, am I wrong? Give me any irrefutable proof that he did drugs. Do not include 2003.

You're right about the 'Stros. Hopefully in the next three years or so, Porter will have this ship turned around. Luckily, the GM and owner both seem to understand the situation the club is in and willing to allow him the time to do his job. As much as I hate it now, I look at it a lot like the Cowboys in 1989 and 1990, when we just knew that something good was on the horizon, we just had to have patience that it would get here. While I hesitate to suggest this means we'll eventually win 3 World Series in 4 years, I do trust Porter and his coaching ability and figure we'll be competing in a few (long) years.

I'll find the thread in the next case, but he was signed into the biogenesis clinic after 2007, but i'm not looking for it now. Look at the size of helmet chart from when he went from Seattle to Texas, and the comparisons with Barry Bonds.

Of course you are wrong, if you cant do a quick google search yourself than why should I do it for you?

You wont be WS in 4, you might be playoffs in 4 though. Their farm system is decent, they have a few star players they can trade for key draft picks and big name prospects in the future, but i dont see Houston being anything unless the fans start going to a grip more games, and that will take the better part of 5 years, with a couple .500 seasons in there.

You have not given me any solid and irrefutable evidence that he used drugs.

If you want to be keep your head buried in the sand, that's up to you. The argument is laughable at best. When i want to look at some MLB shit that doesnt include the brewers i'll hit you up with some irrefutable evidence. I didn't sign online today hoping i'd have to prove something that is as obvious as the sky is blue.

So you're one of those band wagoners that hopes onto the train that A Rod uses drugs without really using them.

Sports Illustrated had it right: Alex Rodriguez, baseball’s $275-million man, was a steroid freak. The no-good cheat confirmed it himself, admitting to ESPN that he injected an illegal mix of performance-enhancing drugs during his final three seasons as a Texas Ranger (2001-2003). “I did take a banned substance,” said the Yankees third baseman, who pocketed $271 in the time in took to say those six words. “I’m guilty for a lot of things. I’m guilty for being negligent, naive, not asking all the right questions.”

There you go dipshit, 3 years he took steroids, go ahead and ignore the 2003 if you want, and there is 2001+2002. Out of his own fucking mouth.

Did you happen to read my response that said nothing behind 2003. Also if you want to use the same logic then shouldn't Ortiz be suspended for a whole season.

When suspending A-rod, the arbiter said that the notebooks, Bosch's testimony, and the more than 200 BlackBerry texts were enough to show that no only had ARod violated the JDA he had done so multiple times. So he put first and second offenses into one. He tacked on more because ARod and his legal team obstructed the process of finding anything out.

A-rod will be appealing it in a federal court, and then we get to see it 100%. You don't have to believe all this but it certainly was evidence enough for someone in charge of the hearing who actually read and witnessed to all of it. In the hearing A-rod walked out instead of defending himself.

If you want to read the 35 page report and show me at least 5 incidences where claims are falsified, i'll listen to your bullshit opinion. Until then - there is all the proof I need. It worked on Braun (who also never tested positive for a drug test) and there is no reason to not believe Bosch after his testimony was proven to be correct vs Braun, is lying to get A-rod.
