Major League Baseball is preparing to suspend New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun and others connected to Biogenesis clinic in Miami, reports ESPN.com.

The report also states that as many as 20 other players will also be suspended because of their connection with the clinic. Biogenesis founder Tony Bosch agreed to cooperate with investigators from MLB after months of trying to verify if the players received performance-enhancing drugs from Bosch. Investigators have had records for more than a month that named the players.
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera, Oakland Athletics pitcher Bartolo Colon and San Diego Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal have all received 50-game suspensions for failing PED tests. Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz, Seattle Mariners minor league catcher Jesus Montero, Detroit Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta are also being looked at for possible suspensions.
Until now, Bosch had denied any wrongdoing with PED distribution.
“I have been accused, tried and convicted in the media. And so I think have been falsely accused throughout the media,” Bosch told ESPN recently. “I’ve done nothing wrong.”​

One source familiar with the case said the commissioner’s office might seek 100-game suspensions for Rodriguez, Braun and other players, the penalty for a second doping offense. The argument, the source said, is that the players’ connection to Bosch constitutes one offense, and previous statements to MLB officials denying any such connection or the use of PEDs constitute another. Bosch and his attorneys did not return several calls. MLB officials refused to comment when reached Tuesday​

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK i didnt see a 100 game suspension deal, a-rod already has failed once so his would be 100 but Brauns would be first offense.

We all know they did it, i wont play games with that shit. I have a lot of friends who hate on me for the lack of respect i show braun for our team, and i dont know how this could work out worse. We are stuck with him for a decade, and i dont care how well he does. Honestly, this makes me less interested in cheering for my team. I just want Hart to come back, and we will have to bring up Hunter Morris by all-star break. We wont be too fucked for it (honestly the rest of our team is batting well and our pen is #5 in NL) but id rather just drop him and forget it, unless he redoes his contract.

I felt the same way for a-rod before he went to Texas, i used to LOVE the Mariners and Braves, both good teams you could count on quality from. Brewers were alright and i always cheered my team but i was never a die hard fan of anyone besides Sheets. Dolphs can lol about this because Colon went out last year and is going out for keeps now. Anything to squeeze money out of the fans hoping for success.

I must have been misinformed during the mets broadcast. They broke the news to me, and said that they were all facing 100 game suspensions. They probably forgot Braun got away the first time.

Fuck it, we all knew it was coming, Braun went to school in FL and was accused even then of PED's. Fucking cocksucker.

Colorado won 24 in the last month to make it in, we went from 17 games out to in contention before losing it last year. It's june 4th, talk to me after all star break.
