Mets Matt Harvey was NL Pitcher of the month for april. He became the first pitcher in the modern era to win his first four starts while yielding 10 hits or fewer. The 24-year-old took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in a start against the Twins on April 13. Harvey now stands at 7-5 with a 2.26 ERA in 16 career starts, having given up only 63 hits in 99 2/3 innings.

It was pretty scary to see. He was having a rough inning to begin with, he battled so hard in Spring training to get his spot. Hopefully there's no long term effects.

I'd have a hard time taking the mound for a few starts. It will be hard to follow through with your pitch and not hold back. He will be trying to get into the best defensive position possible. GL HAPP
