I only really care about Oakland/AL West and so that's what I follow. I'll watch other AL teams because we will play them in the playoffs, but the NL just seems irrelevant to the A's.

I can't just sit around and watch a random baseball game like I could basketball or football. I enjoy watching my team but that's about it.

That makes a lot of sense. I follow the NL East more intently

I guess the reason why I watch so much is by the time the mets are over, a few games are just starting and i'm bored out of my mind that late with nothing better to do.

I'll tune in to a Giants game every now and again and I'll watch the Nats if I happen to catch Gio or Stras on the mound.

Playoffs are a little different. I can sit through most any MLB Playoff game for the most part.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I thought you were going to say because the pitchers bat in the NL. I hate that argument for why people hate NL baseball.

I enjoy NL baseball and can appreciate it because Oakland played sort of like an NL team for a lot of years the way they depended on fielding and pitching and manufacturing runs. I like both leagues having their own rules, it is unique. I don't, however, like that Selig is adding more interleague games and having them all season long. That is Blue IMO.

Yeah when Astros went to the AL, in order to have an equal amount of games for interleague it required that. I would prefer just having you play your interleague rivals once a year.

EDIT; Series once a year^

I think most fans would. Baseball is all about tradition. It is the one sport I really feel that way about. The more you move away from old operating procedures the less I like it.

I agree one 3 game set a year would be perfect, maybe two so you get the home-in-home. We don't need to be playing anyone but the Giants, just like the Mets should only play the Yanks, Dodgers/Angels, ect.
