Unless you want it to look a certain way. WWE did the same when Jey went deuces uces. ...and AEW works also quickly when it comes to their Roster page, just look at the Luchasaurus/Killswitch change.

People underestimate the subtle power moves like these have. Especially nowadays with the speed social media works.
Gets ppl talking

Removing from the roster page is bare minimum they can do for the angle so yeah def not a big deal. I do recall being "worked" about works more the last few years tho, as in stuff I thought was obvious works and turned out to be legit, so I won't say with 100% confidence it's not legit which means it it working

Yea... no one can say for sure, except for those few that are actually in the know. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah but with that he "quit" on television. MJF was just attacked and then all of a sudden hes not on the roster page.

As someone who hated MJF carrying on this angle cause no one was buying it, good to see someone proving me wrong by buying the work

He's obviously not leaving but I respect them sticking to the story.

I’m 60/40 on this. 60% work, 40% legit. Either way, even if he shows back up it still could be legit cause he always said he wanted to hear out offers I believe. So even if he’s not currently signed, he always could sign back

The only reason I’m like 98% work 2% legit is because I refuse to believe that a booker would push someone all the way till the day he leaves. You would think roughly 5 months out if he wasn’t working with you on a new contract, you would have him drop the belt at all in or so.

Regardless, I do think it’s a pretty cool way to do it. I feel the more interesting thing to look for is how they handle his disappearance on Dynamite.

If Adam Cole goes really ham on ending his career, it’ll be pretty telling, but if they almost ignore him and just focus on the stuff moving forward, it’ll get people talking for sure.

The thing you have to remember is that the Devil payoff was delayed from its intent thanks to Cole's injury

I do, but that also started after All In, iirc.
