Wants that Punk money.....a better investment for your future imo.

I would definitely agree considering his agree…

How much is Punk money though? $3…$3.5 per year?

he's probably not going to make as much as Punk, I wouldn't pay him Punk money yet. If Punk is making 3.5 though, let's say, I'd happily go 2.5 to 3 if he signs long term

That being said no one actually knows because AEW is a private company that don't release the details of their contract. No overly different that WWE in that regards.

What we DO know is atm he's making hundreds of thousands (as per wade keller) and I would assume, logically, he'd like that to have an extra 0. Which fair enough.

Realistically, given how young he is, I’d give him $3.5 a year for 4-5 years.

Base pay for the original roster in year one AEW was reportedly $250k.

Yikes. And if he didn’t renegotiate then I can understand why he thinks he’s underpaid.

But at the same time, he has to be smart enough to realize TK wouldn’t give him a raise without the promise of an extension.

Sounds like Vince will be the only real winner cause in 18 months, he can get MJF for half the price probably

MJF definitely deserves to have his pay raised, dude has been killing it, and would be a great investment for the future. But yeah, if he wants it, he can easily get it…. Just sign an extension. If he just gives MJF his raise without signing anything new, then that’s gonna make other folks think they can do the same, and that makes a bigger mess.

MJF is one of the least expendable guys they have I feel. I don't feel any person on the roster is completely inexpendable because I don't feel the company is gonna sink as a result of one lost member of the roster... But MJF is definitely one of the last guys you'd want to lose.
