You wouldn’t think so, but he claims that he still gets a tremendous amount of money from that. It has to be what is supplementing what is obviously a money loser for him.
residuals - you guys know how often Smashing Pumpkin still plays on the radio? It's on every classic rock and alt rock channels rotations. if he didnt spend it all on drugs and invested, he got tons of money.

plus he pays fuck all lol

Hopefully he hasn't only invested in TNA and NWA since the 2010s

I'm sure he has a financial adviser investing his money like majority of rich celebs from from past times that haven't crashed out publicly

No clue nothing that I posted said anything like that
Didn't say it did, was more asking purely for the fact he just won the Defy title and being pulled from dates screams he might not be popping back to do business

I mean the date he was pulled from is the same date of NXT Vengeance Day so I don't think that's any indication of anything yet.

I'm not predicting he does end up dropping the title or anything, I'd bet he doesn't but it's different than CMLL bc Steph left them way more contorversarily regardless tof he fact that she had a belt and Defy isn't an official AEW partner either so it wouldn't be too surprising to me if they made an exception.

The biggest hurdle I think is if they're okay with him losing in general, I think that might be their hold up with letting him drop it as opposed to "you can finish your indie dates" bc this seems like a very unique situation

If they wanna make a friend with Defy they should let him drop it to some big name they bring in for their Mania weekend show that's a day or two before the NXT one since I'm sure they got hella talent coming in for that one

From this week's Observer:

“Even before his release, WWE had plans for Starks to debut in NXT at a major event later this year, but sped up the process as soon as he was available."
“The belief is that Black and Miro will also be in WWE very soon. It wouldn’t surprise me to see CJ Perry back involved with him but that’s less of a definite. Those in WWE had said creative had been talking about Black and Miro.”
