Just for some reminder context too, Miro is the only one that's publically confirmed he requested his release. Ricky was very reputably reported as doing so last month too but didn't say that himself. So I would bet his was agreed to as well finally, I doubt these two contracts expired today

For Fenix yeah, but lowkey if I'm Penta I kinda wanna see how this singles run goes for me :lol I'm sure he would prefer his brother with him tho, but it has worked out better than I thought so far solo

I’m kind of on the same boat because I do wanna see Pentagon singles first because I became a big fan of Penta before I liked them as a tag team but I also love them as a tag team so eventually I want to see tag stuff.

If Hunter is smart, he’ll bring Fenix in and they’ll both do singles stuff for a while.

It looks like both are finally free. Good for both of them. If they're both on ice and they both want out then go ahead and let them out.

I’m actually a big defender of companies being able to hold talent to their contracts if you’re using them but if you sit them home and it’s been six months and you still have no plans to bring them back, then it’s time to let them go.

Especially if the talent requests it.

I'd argue that's the only time you should morally release them is if they both ask and you aren't using them

Otherwise, you both agreed to a set length of the contract, I don't think you should cut someone early if you don't have use for them and they're happy to still get paid at home...you agreed to the time. Likewise if you are using them and they want out, I don't think you always have to just say yes every time bc you're still getting use and they aren't sitting at home.

Yeah, I was mainly speaking about when a talent specifically asked for their release. If a company says no because they actually continue to put them on TV, I’m perfectly fine with that. But there’s no reason to say no to someone asking for their release and then just sitting them at home for a year or however long.

I agree if the talent is perfectly happy making money to do nothing then they don’t have to be let go.

I will just say this, WWE are about to have a bloated roster soon and I don't think their current top acts will be happy being pushed down the card cause a bunch of AEW people came in.

Miro should have just been cut ages ago, guy was refusing to job and adding nothing at all. Starks I feel they tried to push and he was hot/cold at times. Hopefully it works better in WWE. I think he should have been let go the minute he actually asked to leave as for ages he hadn't.

Miro always waited until everything was final with his separation and stuff before ever asking too lol not that I can blame him if that's what happened
