Midnight Mass Mafia Game Thread — Game ended.

So, the gimmick here is that Midnight Mass is the name of the book written by Kate Siegel's character in the movie Hush, whereas she also plays one of the main characters in the series Midnight Mass itself. Mike Flanagan tends to have these big ensemble casts and work with the same actors across multiple projects, so the scum team was almost entirely comprised of actors who were in both. When they flipped, I would've blurred out real character picture, name and relevant info that would identify them as specifically from Hush since that would give up the game.

tbf having junk as a town lean was a bit premptive. she played nothing liek she did as town so null or worse would have put her in poe. nom too simply for role. pendex n doink would have been annoying tho pendex looked worse than smark and as soon as pendex yknow, doesnt die and smark does its curtains for him. doink i would have picked to try n go all the way for sure

I still think Junk is cowardly as scum after my game with her ages ago with the fake cop check so figured she was scum here as soon as she dipped out without showing g any of her towny traits

Really, I just wanted to run a game where the antagonist changed midway through it, forcing people who had originally been enemies to work together in an uneasy alliance. Like there being a bigger, badder boss.

Was kind of inspired by Rurouni Kenshin on it.

Y'all kind of abandoned it midway through the phase, but I was really intrigued what a mason QT with 2-3 town, 1 scum and the SK was going to look like.

@Suplexorcist I was so stoked to see you go hard at Jeff/Lethal bus because I said the exact same thing to Peter in dms the second he placed the vote on Lethal. I said that's a clear bus lol and both are scum. But then all fucking hell broke loose and the whole game got scrambled, I was like no chance am I repping into this chaos

I mean I knew Jeff was scum before the moment he plays the vote anyway but it seemed obvious to me even if I hadn’t already known Jeff was already scum.
