Just played the demo for the game and it's pretty impressive Def not your typical MG game but going around and slicing the shit out of people with Raiden looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. For anyone on the fence about this game check it out download the demo. Even if your not a Metal Gear fan this looks like it's going to be a game worth playing.

Can't wait to play it. Looks like Snake is gone for good, which saddens me, but if they keep some of the same aspects and nods to the MGS line, I'll be happy with it.

Based on the demo there's no much in terms of gameplay from Metal Gear.....this is going to be a slasher game....only stealth I saw was sneaking up behind a enemy and cutting the top portion of his head off in blade mode.

Yeah, I noticed that too. However, I hope they keep the plot complex and interesting.

A PC version was initially planned, but later cancelled I believe.

I didn't watch the latest videos but the initial trailers portrayed a cyborg Raiden chopping stuff up with some kind of sword, it looked like DMC, Splinter Cell: Conviction and MGS had a baby.

Then again, Kojima and other people who worked on the previous MGS games are directly involved, so I wouldn't too worry much.
