My mom has scars from various cancer surgeries and she calls them her battle scars. I have a scar on my knee from an accident when I was 8 and I’m fair skinned and it’s a light purple-ish scar that is not really very noticeable unless you are staring at my knee lol

I am with you, as long as I don’t get scars on my face, yeah, they’re def a story to tell and I don’t mind them.

Hope you heal well :)
Being fair skinned is relatable with me as well. No matter what I do, I don't tan very well. Lol. Must be the Irish side. Just like you, I also have a purplish scar on my left knee from a gash I got from either my Mother's Dog or I cut it on the edge of her car. ( The dog was kept in garage momentarily when her landlord was at her place, and he HATED her landlord) The situation at the time happened so fast I have no idea how I got the gash. It was clean and not ragged.
